We all have our own insecurities as women because of painful experiences that made us believe we’re not good enough and we can never measure up. It’s normal to feel insecure sometimes but it’s not okay to dwell in it. So, how do we deal with this every time the negativity overwhelms us?
1. Acknowledge how you feel and tell God everything.
Whether you like it or not, there will really be days wherein you will feel most insecure. In that case, you have to know how to deal with yourself so that you won’t get too overwhelmed with how you feel. Admitting how you feel is a sign of humility. So just run to God and tell Him everything. He always listens.
2. Know that how you feel is not the truth.
Regardless of how you feel, you should know that it’s not the truth. Most often, our feelings deceive us telling us we’re not good enough and we can never measure up. When this happens, declare the truth of who you are in the sight of God and choose to believe even if your feelings tell you otherwise. It is God who truly knows you, and His Word alone can define you.
3. Pray to God that you’d be able to rule over your insecurities.
Prayer is the greatest weapon we have when we feel weak and weary. So, choose to humble yourself before the Presence of God and pray and ask Him to help you overcome. He will never fail you. It is all by God’s grace!
4. Do what is right in God’s sight regardless of how you feel.
Just like when the LORD told Cain to rule over his desire to sin in Genesis 4:6-7, we should also learn to do the same. Regardless of your fleshly feelings, you still have the power to choose to do what is right in God’s sight. That is how you’d be able to honor God in that season.

Relentless woman, you are not your insecurities, you are who God says you are. You are beautiful, amazing, and lovely, and God is pleased with you!
