Christian actress Roma Downey urges all Christians to be more “Christ-like” and to love one another.

Roma has been known for her role in the popular series “Touched by an Angel,” and as part of the production team of “The Bible, A.D.: The Bible Continues.” She has also been known for her Christian faith and the values she upholds in her life. One of the values she recently focused more on is kindness to one another.
The 62-year-old actress noticed how people in this world and age became more unkind to each other. She has also noticed that there’s division in every country and the world. In her recently released 52-week devotional titled “Be An Angel,” she inspired readers to embark on kindness.

Kindness
Through her devotional, she urged the readers to put the words of the Scripture into application in real life. The word “Angel” has been mentioned about 300 times in the Bible, and there’s a reason for that.
“They were the messengers,” Roma said in an interview with Christian Headlines. “What they brought was usually a loving, extraordinary message from the Almighty. … And I thought, what if we, in our lives and our exchanges with each other could be more like the angels?”
Faith in Action
Roma also emphasized that our faith should be shown in action and not just in words. Let us become more Christ-like and let us love one another the way He did.
“I want to be better. I want to be more Christ-like,” she said. “… We’ve got to walk the walk, too. It’s not just saying it. Love is a verb. And faith is a verb. Anybody can say, ‘I love you,’ or anybody can say, ‘I believe.’ But how do we put these things into action?”
