God is good and He loves us so much that He sent His most prized possession, Jesus, to die for us at the cross for our salvation. He did this so that we can be set free from the penalty of sin and death. Pretty amazing!
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
There are some that have chosen to ignore His calling but it still remains waiting for a reply. Sin has separated us from God since the time of Adam and Eve, but God has a rescue plan to redeem us and reconcile us to Him. He made a way and He revealed the way back to Him through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Romans 3:21-26 tells us we are unrighteous outside of Christ. But we are made right with Him, without keeping the requirements of the law. He made an unbreakable promise in the writings of Moses and the prophets a long time ago; His promises are “Yes” and “Amen” (see 2 Corinthians 1:20). Undoubtedly, we are made right with God, we become His righteousness by placing our faith in Jesus.
Call to Salvation
Believe in Jesus no matter who you are, for He has no favorites (see Romans 2:11). Be reassured, we have all sinned, done wrong, and have fallen short of God’s glory (see Romans 3:23). God loves us and in His grace, we have been made righteous in His sight. Did you get that? Brothers and sisters, we are made right in Christ! This is a call to salvation: to be set free from the penalty of sin and death. God is real, He does exist and He gave Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, as the perfect sacrifice for us. Jesus shed His blood on the Cross at Calvary… for us!
Thankfully, God was being fair and just when He held back and did not punish us as we deserved. God looked ahead into the future and He saw a new life in Christ. He saw the good plans He has for us: hope and peace. Finally, I encourage you, brothers and sisters, to answer His call to salvation today. Believe in Jesus, be inspired by His Word (The Living Word), be transformed, and be like Jesus. He loves you!
