One of Bethel Church’s worship leaders, Sean Feucht, calls out Instagram and Twitter for censoring Christian content like Bible verses and worship videos.

On Friday, Sean Feucht expressed his thoughts in Twitter on how social media has been censoring Christian contents. With his post is a screenshot of Bethel Church’s senior leader Beni Johnson’s censored Bible verse tweets. It was later reported that Beni Johnson’s account has been taken down.
“This account doesn’t exist,” says Twitter when you seek to visit Johnson’s profile “@prayfor5,” which had more than 32,000 followers.

Beni Johnson’s latest post on Twitter is the Bible verse Psalms 34:14.

Worship Videos
Another tweet from Bethel Music’s Sean reads, “This is what we’ve come to in America! Instagram is now classifying my WORSHIP videos as ‘harmful or false information.’”
Two of the videos censored were videos titled “Worshiping through the riots in St. Louis,” and “HOPE RALLY at the George Floyd Memorial site.” Both videos show people from different races worshiping and praying amid the protests on George Floyd’s death.
“I’m a leader in the faith community. I’m also an artist and I have a worship and missions ministry,” Sean said in an interview with Fox News. “One of the things we’ve been doing since [the recent U.S. protests] started happening is, we’ve been going to a lot of these places and bringing a unified — black, white Hispanic, Asian — just a unified coalition of people together, worshiping and praying, and peacefully protesting.”
“Social media needs more peace”
The award-winning artist calls out on social media platforms to show posts that promote peace and Jesus.
“Not only is big tech blocking worship videos, now they’re blocking Bible verses about PEACE! RT if you believe social media needs more peace, more worship, and less censorship of Jesus followers,” he wrote.
