Did you know you are seated in heavenly realms with Christ Jesus? This is exciting news! Hi, my name is Rachel Hale, and I want to encourage you from Ephesians 2:6. Let me read it to you. The Bible says, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” This is exciting and important for us to grasp, because when we realize we’re seated in heavenly realms, worldly strife has to cease.
A few years ago, I was in a time of prayer and God took me into a vision, and I saw myself and I was trying to climb a rope. And the rope was attached to the ceiling and I wanted to touch the ceiling, and so I began to climb the rope in order to climb it and touch the ceiling. And when I pulled on the rope, all of a sudden, more rope came through the ceiling. And then I got a little discouraged, but I thought I’d try again. And so I tried to climb that rope again, and all of a sudden it came through the ceiling again, and I was even more discouraged. But I thought, “Well, I really want to touch that ceiling. I’m gonna keep climbing.” So I tried to climb it again, and more rope came through, and in that moment I realized, “Oh no, this is a never ending rope, and I’m never going to touch that ceiling.” And God said to me, “Rachel, this is what you’re trying to do right now. You are trying to achieve goals in order to be loved. You are trying to network and meet people in order to feel seen or known or wanted or valued. You’re trying to climb a worldly system, and that is not what I intended for you. You are already seated in heavenly realms with Jesus.”
I want to read to you a scripture from James. It’s, James chapter three, and it’s verses 14 through 16. It says, “But if you have bitter envy and strife in your hearts (and some versions say ‘self-seeking’ in your hearts), glory not and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descends, not from above, but is earthly, sensual and demonic. For where envy and strife is, there’s confusion and every evil work.”
It’s very important that we do not try to strive and live by a worldly system. It’s demonic. God wants us to realize that we are a royal priesthood seated in heavenly realms with Jesus. What’s so beautiful about that is if I’m seated with Jesus, that means I’m right beside Him, and it means that I can hear what He’s saying. And if I can hear what He’s saying, then I can say what He’s saying, I can pray what He’s saying. So I can ask Him, “Hey God, Jesus, what do you want me to pray about this situation? What do you see for this situation?” All of a sudden, I have a better understanding of what His heart desires, and then I can actually pray that over every situation that I face, and then I can truly release heaven to earth.
So let me pray for you. Jesus, I thank you so much for every single person watching this video. Lord, I pray that you would allow them to see that they are seated in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. And I ask, Father, that they would begin to pray what you pray over every situation that they’re facing. And I seal it in Jesus’s name. Amen.
