“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5) God is willing to give to whosoever that ask Him, and wisdom is life to anyone that has it (see Proverbs 3:18). It is wise to start the new year by seeking God’s wisdom and prayerfully and consciously walk in it through the year. Then by the mercy of God, you are sure of securing a better ending to the year. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”
Wisdom Of The Lord
Someone can acquire knowledge and skills in his chosen field from college or University. Still, wisdom can only be acquired from the University of the fear of the Lord, and it is for life experience. Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” This wisdom comes from the Lord; James 3:17 says, “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and hypocrisy.”
Acknowledge The Lord
The wisdom of God prompts a man to acknowledge the Lord in all his ways, for the Lord will direct and secure his way because there are ways that might seem right, but the end of it leads to death (see Proverbs 14:12). Proverbs 3:5-7 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.“

God has a better future for us even in 2021 (see Jeremiah 29:11), but He desires us to trust and acknowledge Him in all our ways and not part, not even 99.9% so that He can direct our path under His will. So, we can be at peace, save, and not to waste resources and time.
