This viral video of little Kinnady Devine will melt your heart. She is battling a potentially deadly disease in the hospital. But, even though she is suffering, she has the courage to pray to God sincerely.
Kinnady contracted bacterial meningitis, and it caused her to suffer terribly. But the moment you get to see the video below, you will be amazed by how this little kid fights her battle. Though she is suffering, she still manages to say sweet prayers to God. While she is laying in her hospital bed, she keeps on telling sweet words to the people around her especially to her Mom and Dad.
Her parents Rachel and Levi, who were beside her, listen as Kinnady expresses her love to them. She even tells her daddy that he is handsome and that she loves him so much. Kinnady thanks her Mom for bringing her to the hospital.
She repeats her prayers a couple of times and asks her family to pray with her.
“I Love God, and I Love Jesus,” Kinnady said.
After a couple of prayers, Kinnady keeps telling everyone she’s better. You will be amazed by how she manages to think positively in spite of what she is feeling. Her faith is a beautiful inspiration to all of us. It’s also very inspiring to see that the people surrounding her are fighting with her, especially her courageous parents.
Watching your child suffer is not an easy thing to do. As a parent, it takes so much courage to be strong in moments when you know that your child is going through pain. The way in which Kinnady’s parents comfort their precious child is indeed heart warming.
This is what childlike faith looks like. Even in the midst of challenges Kinnady and her family didn’t lose hope. Let this wonderful story remind us not to give up no matter the storms we face.
