Led by an 18-year-old girl, teenagers worshiped in a parking lot after attending a 3-hour service. They couldn’t get enough of God.

Roar Apostolic Network and Roar Church Texarkana are founded and led by Joe Joe Dawson. Joe Joe is married to the love of his life, Autumn Dawson, and they have three children: Malachi, Judah, and Ezra. Their desire is to see every believer fulfill their God-given destiny and live life to the fullest in God.

Moreover, Joe Joe is a visionary leader who equips believers to fulfill the call that God has put inside them. Besides that, his heart’s desire is for this nation to be awakened and for each individual to experience personal rejuvenation. God is inviting believers to a deeper level of connection with him, and Joe’s passion is to see that happen.

And it seems that their daughter, Malachi, lived for this at a very young age.

One day in high school, God opened Malachi’s heart to His purpose.

“As I was walking through high school, I could tell that there was this deep sadness and depression looming over people. And I realized that something was wrong. I could see the enemy working through our generation. But recently, I feel like the Lord is calling that generation back to life,” Malachi said.

However, she admitted that even when she was turning fifteen years old, God had been pursuing her and impressing her to minister to her generation. She remembered God saying, “Malachi, it is time for you to call your generation back to life… I’ve waited in your entire life for this moment.”

Even when she was so afraid, God granted her supernatural boldness.

“Around my senior year, I got this supernatural boldness. I knew it wasn’t my own doing. It was the Lord. And I really felt like He put a mantle on top of me that had supernatural boldness. I wasn’t scared to go out,” she recalled.

Teenagers Worshiped In A Parking Lot

Discouraged upon losing many of her friends was Malachi.

“I lost a lot of my friends. It was kind of discouraging. And I was like, “God, You placed this all inside of me; why do I feel like I’m in a losing game?” And He said to me, “Malachi, I’m walking with you. And that’s all you need.””

Since then, she has experienced how God opened better doors than the ones He closed.

“As I began to walk with Him, He began to bring people around me. And that’s when I feel like He gave me a gathering wherein I can bring teenagers together. He actually told me to start this ministry called “The Move.” A movement after God’s heart.”

Because of this movement, teenagers worshiped in a parking lot.

“After we had a 3-hour service, apparently God wasn’t done because we were eating and all of a sudden, two of my worship leaders, one of whom was fourteen hops, were on the table and the whole restaurant was looking at us. And she just started singing. Immediately, we all ran outside the parking lot, and we had like a 2-hour-long just worship set. There was no preparation for it. It was just the joy of the Lord hitting my worship leaders, and we just went after it. You could see the people jumping up and down,” Malachi recalled.

Those teenagers were saved and shared their stories with others. Weeks later, those same people came back to Malachi and said, “You don’t understand the freedom I had when I was worshiping.” I truly think that worship is a prayer.””

18-Year-Old Ukrainian Teen Loses His Mom Amid War

With the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, too many lives have been lost. And one heartbreaking story is about an 18-year-old Ukrainian teen whose mother died in the shelling last mid-march.

Viacheslav Yalov and his family lived in Donetsk. It is a place in Ukraine that has become a battleground since 2014. But in mid-March, a tragedy happened to their family, forcing them to leave their hometown deeply broken.

The eldest and his mother went out from the home to look for supplies at a friend’s place when a bomb hit near the site. According to the report, it hit them, which caused serious injuries to his mom. The teen tried to ask for help but came back helpless. No one was able to help them medically. So, he went back and tried to control his mom’s bleeding until she died in his arms.

Raises His Younger Siblings On His Own

Viacheslav was deeply broken and returned home without his mother. He couldn’t afford to tell his siblings the heartbreaking news. But they immediately understood what happened as they saw him covered with blood.

Now, the 18-year-old Viacheslav has to raise his siblings on his own. Some days, he wishes his mom was still alive. But regardless, he has accepted the challenge to stand strong for his younger siblings—Milo, Nicole, Timmoor, and Olivia.

Unfortunately, Viacheslav and his siblings could no longer stay in their home, for it was severely damaged. But thank God, a friend lent him money, and they traveled toward the southwest of Ukraine. In Lviv, they arrived safely, and the government took care of their shelter.

Strangers who know the story suddenly walked up to their apartment to help or cheer up the teen.

What a blessing this young boy is! Let’s pray for him and his family, and may God bless him even more.

18-Year-Old With Inoperable Cancerous Brain Tumor Got Healed & Becomes A Pastor

An 18-year-old teen who almost died because of an inoperable cancerous brain tumor got healed and became a pastor.

Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

TJ Lynch grew up in a Christian home with dreams of becoming successful and climbing the corporate ladder. Hence, he went to college, taking a business and marketing course. But one day, that dream was suddenly crushed when the teen was diagnosed with a brain tumor following an eyesight check-up. He was then sent to the emergency room, and doctors found out the cancer was inoperable.

At some point, the 18-year-old got angry at God because of his condition. But in the end, TJ surrendered to God when the church community sincerely prayed for him. The prayers from people moved the teen to the core that he felt the Presence of God through them. Then his eyes were opened to the importance of church and community.

“This was just part of life and yet God was there—through people,” he said.

Responding To God’s Call As A Pastor

Thirteen years later, TJ has become a pastor and is leading a church cancer-free. He is also married with a 3-year-old child and twins coming. And now he looks back and says, “If you told me I’d be a pastor I would’ve laughed.”

Then the now 31-year-old attests that it was God’s work how he became a pastor.

“God, the holy spirit, was at work through it all,” TJ recalled. “You’re 18 and you almost die. It kind of changes your perspective on life.”

While still battling cancer, one day at church, he felt God pat him on the shoulder. That’s when the teen responded to God’s call to become a pastor. And 31 years later, the pastor has become a great blessing to the flock God entrusted to him.

One church member, Joy McLemore, attested TJ’s outstanding leadership as a pastor.

“I’ve never been one to seek out pastors for counseling,” the 76-year-old said. “But I seek him out for ice cream.” They apparently go for ice cream together whenever she needs someone to talk to.

“TJ is just a blessing that appeared right when my family needed it,” she remarked. “He’s fun and funny. He feeds my faith. He’s open-minded, open-hearted. What he says to us at the end of every sermon is, ‘God loves you and so do I,’ and you feel it.”

18-Year-Old Boy With No Pulse For 25 Minutes Receives Miracle

A teen who suffered from sudden illness nearly died after having had no pulse for 25 minutes. Today, he is alive and serving God with his life.

No Pulse For 25 Minutes

One unfortunate day, 18-year-old Jakin Mashburn suddenly collapsed in his bathroom. It shocked and terrified his mother, Carrie, as she found her son lying unconscious on the floor. She immediately called 911 and began performing CPR on him. Jakin’s dad, Brian, wasn’t at home when the incident happened. So, he prayed to God while hurrying to get home.

In the middle of this traumatic experience, God’s hand was evident. One of the paramedics on the scene testified how they were about to get off work when they received the call. They quickly arrived to the house and found the teen without a pulse. It took 25 minutes, but they were able to bring him back to life.

Answered Prayer

When he arrived at the hospital doctors started hooking him up with tubes and administering meds as they fought for his life. Thank God, after two days he began to improve, which surprised everyone. The only concern was that he was suffering from short-term memory loss.

Despite the odds, the family continued to pray and trust God. And indeed, God totally healed Jakin! Eight days later, he was discharged from the hospital. He is grateful to all the doctors and medical staff who went above and beyond to help him recover.

“The coolest part about it is how it affected people,” he said. “Like people at my church coming up to me and telling me how it helped them in their faith.”

Doctors diagnosed the 18-year-old with Long QT Syndrome. According to the report, it is “a syndrome that affects electrical activity in his heart – with sometimes dangerous consequences.”

Jakin’s dad shared, “Whether it was God’s miraculous touch on portions of this or the trained medical professionals or Carrie and everyone else that played a part, we give God the glory for all that.”

Today, serving God is the teen’s priority. He plans to become a counselor at a Christian camp and enroll in Biblical Studies to become a youth minister.
