Street Vendor Gives Free Food To Prankster While Sharing The Word Of God

A YouTube vlogger pranked a street vendor in the Philippines by disguising himself as a beggar. He asked for some food from the vendor, but he did not expect to receive it physically and spiritually.

Prank with a heart

Sam was originally from Syria and now has been living in the Philippines for 15 years. He created a Youtube channel to upload his videos of fun and good cause.

He said, “Although prank videos are funny, I have decided that I should do more than just make you laugh.”

So, he made video content of pretending to be a beggar to ask for free food from vendors. But, he would later reveal himself and give away financial gifts or in kind.

However, one street vendor stood out from all he approached. Bebot did not just give him food for his stomach but even food for his soul.

The video first showed Sam appealing to Bebot for free drinks. He said, “I don’t have money. Maybe, you can give me one? I didn’t drink for a long time.”

Bebot immediately answered, “Yes, yes. No problem. Don’t worry, sir.”

Sam then commended the vendor’s good gesture. To this, Bebot replied, “What did Jesus say?”

“Jesus said, ‘Feed the hungry. Give drink to the thirsty.'”

He added, “The Bible teaches us not to belittle anyone, whether you are rich or poor. The Bible said if the person is thirsty, give them a drink and feed those who are hungry. Everyone deserves to be respected, even the little children.”

When Sam finally showed his true intentions and blessed Bebot. “Because you are very kind,” Sam said.

The kind man teared up and humbly said, I am only obeying the Lord.”

The video went viral for Bebot’s generosity and his action in following Jesus.

Isaiah 58:10 says, “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”

Strangers Take In Stranded Delivery Driver From Texas Snowstorm For Five Days

A couple in Texas who were total strangers to a delivery driver offered her a gesture of kindness. When she got stranded in the midst of the winter storm, they gave her shelter to keep her warm for five days.

Chelsea Timmons was onto her last parcel of delivery on her list. Although the snow was getting heavier by the second, she was determined to finish her job.

But, the road went frigid and slippery. Her car uncontrollably slid down towards her customer’s yard.

She recalled, “I was going down very slowly, remembering to tap my brake. I tapped more aggressively, and it just still kept sliding. My heart just dropped as I just slid right towards their house, and I just closed my eyes.”

Fortunately, the car did not crash into the house. However, it got stuck in her customer’s flower bed.

The customers, Doug Condon and Nina Richardson, helped move Chelsea’s car but to no avail. They contacted a tow truck service, but the snow deterred them from coming.

A family for five days

So, they decided to take in Chelsea and made her a guest until the storm dissipated. She stayed with them for five days.

When asked about their decision, Nina said, “It’s just what you do when stuff shows up.”

Doug added, “We have daughters, and we hope if they were ever in a situation like this, that there would be someone who would open their house and help them.”

Chelsea was grateful for the couple’s kindness. She said, “I’m just extremely fortunate that this is where my car crashed. It was in their flower bed. It wasn’t in a ditch, and it wasn’t on the side of the road. I was stuck someplace safe and warm.”

Later, she realized that getting to stay out of her apartment was good news after all. “I found out my apartment lost water, lost power, so being ‘stuck here’ actually turned out to be a better situation. Most of my family lost electricity for several days.”

3 teenage friends were dining in a Chick-fil-A restaurant when they saw a homeless man at his table, counting change for a meal. The three boys then decided to act of kindness by giving the man a free meal and brand new clothes.

Ryan Cook and his friends ate at their local Chick-fil-A restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas. While they were enjoying their food, they saw Eddie at the nearby table. He seemed to count his change on the table to buy himself a meal.

The Chick-fil-A staff said that Eddie would come to the fast-food chain often. He would ask for handouts, not for himself but his dog, Socks. Eddie made sure his dog would get to feed first before receiving a portion for his own.

Ryan saw a worn Bible beside Eddie. According to Inside Edition, the Bible may have resonated with the boys that they responded to Eddie’s situation instantly.

They bought Eddie some gift cards to Chick-fil-A then they went to the sporting goods store. They gave him a brand new jacket, 3 shirts, a beanie, and a first-aid kit.

After purchasing their surprise gift, they took a camera to record Eddie’s reaction. And indeed, he was more than happy upon receiving his new clothes. He said, “This is almost like Christmas because I didn’t get anything for Christmas this year.”

Ryan replied, “Think of it as a late Christmas present.”

The three friends posted their good deeds on their social media not to boast but to inspire others to do the same. Ryan exhorted, “Just setting an example for everyone else. Be selfless and do good for others. Then the world would be a better place for everyone. Felt the need to post this to inform others to do better, noy to gain anything from it.”

A FedEx driver in Indiana surprised an 11-year-old boy with a new hoop and basketball. She took the time to set up the gift when the family wasn’t home.

A surprise from a FedEx driver

Aubrey Robinson noticed the 11-year-old boy, Elijah Maines, playing with his old and bent hoop as she would drive around their neighborhood delivering packages. Elijah’s bright countenance stuck in her mind.

She said, “It was crazy to me how happy he was with the bent up, broken hoop. Every time I saw him, he was so joyful playing basketball. Seeing him so happy stuck with me.”

Since then, Aubrey has wanted to bless Elijah with a new set up. She went back and forth many times, but she decided Elijah deserves the best.

“I just wouldn’t stop thinking about it. I really wanted to get him a hoop,” she shared. “I was like, ‘Is that weird?’ But then I just said, you know what, he deserves it, I’m getting him a hoop.”

So, one day, when nobody was home, Aubrey carefully put up her surprise gift for Elijah. She also  left a note to inform the family. It read, “Just wanted you and your son to have the best hoop that’ll grow with him and all his friends.”

Overjoyed with his gift

Coledo Wheeler, Elijah’s mom, was the first one to see the new hoop. “I read the note, and the moment I realized who it was from, I just immediately started to cry,” she recalled.

“When Elijah came home, and I showed it to him, he got really emotional. He got teary-eyed, but he’s an 11-year-old boy, so he really didn’t want to admit he was crying. He just sat there for 10 minutes staring at the ball until it really touched him that she went out of her way to do something just for him.”

Aubrey did not know her act of kindness was doing a lot more for the family than she realized. Elijah’s family went through a tough year, with four family members’ death, and her gift “changed their lives.”

Aubrey and Elijah finally got to meet. Coledo and Elijah couldn’t help but hug Aubrey in gratitude. He also had a thank you card for Aubrey. After which, they played a game of basketball with his new hoop and ball.

Aubrey said, “It was almost like we’d always known each other. I really bonded with the boys. They were so excited to play with me and were begging me not to leave by the end of it. I’m just really happy they know that there’s someone out there who’s there for them, someone who has their back.”

A Five Guys Burgers And Fries manager did the extraordinary after a sick customer walked in the restaurant.

Justin Hollon, a franchise General Manager, seemed to be having a normal day when Leonard, a frequent customer, walked in. Leonard was in a wheelchair when he entered Five Guys in Greektown, Detroit. Justin noticed that the customer was not feeling well and that he was having a hard time placing his orders.

“This time when he came in, he was having trouble ordering, saying he was sick,” Justin said.

Justin was filled with compassion for his customer and felt it on his heart to do something extraordinarily kind. He decided to gift Leonard a meal for free.

“He was so unwell that he couldn’t even process the order himself,” Justin added. “So we just gave it to him.”

The extraordinary act of kindness

Justin then noticed that Leonard was also having a hard time feeding himself. So Justin stepped out from behind the counter and went to check it out. It was obvious that Leonard was unable to feed himself properly so Justin did the only thing he could think to do: he fed Leonard himself.

“At Five Guys we don’t have — or believe in canned interactions, but in the genuine interactions,” Justin said in an interview. “All of our interactions are genuine.”

One of the customers sitting nearby was moved by what he was seeing that he snapped a photo and shred it online. The story has since gone viral and inspired so many people!

“I believe that every person has the ability to make an impact on a person’s life through small acts, like this one,” Justin said.

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” (Hebrews 13:2)

Baptist Church in Alexandria Pays the Debts of 34 Students From Howard University

Alfred Street Baptist Church did a remarkable thing for some students of Howard University in Washington. They did an amazing thing in the name of God.

Howard University in Washington, DC is a historically black university and one of the best universities in the country. But its private higher education comes at a steep cost. Because of that, the congregation at Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria decided to help raise funds for struggling students. They fasted for 30 days abstained from food, social media, and frivolous spending. Through their fast they were able to raise. $150,000.

The church helped 34 students pay their tuition so that they could freely go to school without worrying about crippling debt.

Mya Thompson is one of those people who received the blessing from Alfred Street. “I get financial aid, but sometimes it doesn’t cover – like this semester it doesn’t cover my whole tuition package that I have to pay to the university,” Mya shared.

“The fact that this weight is lifted off my shoulders, I am forever grateful. I will forever think about this,” said Mya.

Alfred Street Baptist Church is truly an inspiration to all churches.

Their act of kindness and sacrifice brought so much hope not just to the students but also for their families.

Together let’s pray for more churches who will come together to help their communities. A group of Christians who will boldly share the love of God not just in words but also in action.

Homeless Man Went Into A Burger King With Only 50 Cents, What The Crew Did Went Viral

Matthew Resendez was at work at a Burger King fast-food restaurant when a homeless man came in and asked him, “What can I get for $0.50?” The homeless man was hungry and wearing dirty, scruffy clothes.  He didn’t beg Matthew for mercy, but he attempted to buy some food to eat with the little money in his possession.

Matthew knew that the homeless man could not afford even the cheapest meal on their menu, but he didn’t turn the homeless man away. What Matthew did for him was such a heroic act!

A Very Proud Mom

This is what Michelle, the mother of Matthew, wrote on her Facebook account after hearing what her son did:

“Proud mom moment! Matthew worked this evening, and a homeless gentleman walked in the restaurant with 50 cents and asked if there was anything on the menu he could buy. Matthew asked him what he would order if he could, and the man said anything would help his hunger pains. So Matthew rang him up for a hearty meal and then used his own debit card to pay for the man’s meal. He handed him the receipt and told him to relax and take a seat. The story could end there, and it would have a happy ending.  However, a woman watched my son during his random act of kindness. Not only did she write the company to let them know about the caring employee they had working for them, but she also rewarded my son with a very generous tip! So proud to be his mom and I can pat myself on the back knowing that I’ve played a part in raising this big-hearted young man.”

It’s possible that another crew member, would have driven the homeless man out of the restaurant without anything to eat.  Thankfully, Matthew is not that kind of person. He was a young man who was taught by his mother to respect everyone no matter what their social status.

His heroic act went viral on Facebook with over 40,000 post shares and over 162,000 post reactions. Matthew’s testimony is now inspiring thousands to alter the way they address the homeless and the poor.

Customers Buy Out Donuts Each Day So Shop’s Owner Can Spend Time With Sick Wife

Since 1990, John Chhan and his wife of more than 30 years, Stella Chhan, have been running a Donut Shop in Seal Beach, California. When Stella suffered from a brain aneurysm, the community learned about what had happened, and they stepped in to help the couple with their business while John helped care for her.

“She’s smiling, full of life. Always in a great mood. Just says, “Hi, how are you? Good morning,” a customer shared how great of a person Stella is.

John opens the donut shop by 4:00AM, with the help of Stella’s sister who extended her hand to the couple to help John run the business while Stella is recovering from a brain aneurysm. The first customers arrive by 4:30AM and most days, the donuts are likely to be sold out before the sun rises.

The Chhan couple is a refugee family from Cambodia, and they’ve become part of the fabric of their community. Because of the customers’ affection for the couple, the community wanted to help them. They started a GoFundMe for the Chhans, but the couple refused to receive money.

“We wanted to offer John some money, but he’s a proud man and didn’t want to take it. So I said, “Let’s just come here, buy his inventory out every morning early so he can get home and be with his wife and help mend her back to full health,” says customer Marc Loopesko.

The customers’ plan is working well.

John says the kindness has been like medicine for his wife, who is already feeling better.

“I feel very, very warm. I just can say, thank you very much,” John Chhan told an interviewer.

The kindness even impacted the whole community.

“This is like something that will warm your heart. It’s unfortunate  – what happened to his wife – but I really believe that something like this, bringing the community together, is just something that we really need right now,” a member of the California community stated.

Justin Bieber Blesses Homeless People As He Chats With Them On Streets Of LA

According to statistics, 564,708 people in the USA are currently homeless. Quite a lot of them can be seen living on the streets or in cars. They’re everywhere and the issue has become increasingly alarming.

Sadly, few people care enough to stop and intentionally listen to their cries. Perhaps, society has forgotten that because the homeless are outcast, the kindness of those around them, even in a small way, will help them feel loved. So, it’s encouraging to see a prominent young celebrity, who is often in the headlines, care enough to take a moment with them!

Last Spring, Justin Bieber was recorded by a fan sitting on pavement with a homeless couple. Justin has a morning routine of working out in Los Angeles at SoulCycle. It’s possible that he passed by this street during his routine, where some homeless people were. Perhaps, drawn by God’s love for these people, Justin couldn’t help but chat with them. He even lay down next to them and blessed them with food and water.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.’” (Matthew 25:40)

God unconditionally loves these homeless people, and Justin allowed God to use him as a vessel to reach out to them. This act perfectly reveals Romans 5:8 in the Bible, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

For years, Justin has been backlashed by many people especially the media. His “bad boy” image of previous years may have contributed to that. Today, Justin has admitted his mistakes in the past, and says he has learned from them. Moreover, he is growing in his personal relationship with God.

These days the change the Lord has done in Justin’s life is witnessed by millions of people around the world. Although he still has obstacles to overcome, he won’t let them get the best of him. Just like any other Christian, he isn’t perfect, but he is trusting and relying upon the grace of God to overcome his fleshly inclinations.

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Police Officers Offer A Powerful Prayer For Boy With Brain Tumor

Jalen Manns is a strong 9-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in May. According to his mother, Hannah Manns, the tumor has been causing psychological and sensory issues for Jalen for some time.

After he was diagnosed, his family started to build up the Team Jalen Facebook page to serve as a support system for him. Galen has received an enormous amount of support from his family, friends and the Facebook community.

The Houston Home Journal noticed his heart melting story and they wrote an article about him. The Warner Robins Police Department saw the articles and with their compassionate heart, they reached out to Jalen. One of the officers offered a powerful prayer of healing that left his mother in tears.

Several Police officers also escorted him to Navicent Health for his biopsy. They also gave Jalen gifts of a t-shirt and stuffed animal.

Jalen’s parents were so grateful with their acts of kindness. His mother Hannah said that Jalen’s sickness caused anxiety for him but the amazing amount of love and comfort has been emotionally overwhelming.

There is hope for humanity, how the officers served Jalen and his family proves that there is still goodness in this world. Sometimes, it starts with the simple act of boldly sharing God’s love to the people who need it.
