Christian artist Chris Tomlin has a valuable message to his listeners through his new album, “Always.”

The Grammy Award-winning artist released his 17th studio album earlier this month titled “Always.” On this worship album Chris Tomlin wanted people to experience God. He chose the album title because it is a word that describes who God is.
“When we think about worship, in the one word — ‘always’ [and] how powerful [it is]. It says so much; the word always means eternal, everlasting, infinite, faithful. There are not a lot of things in our life that are always. Most things end; many things fail in this world,” Chris said in an interview.

The worship leader also announced that he will be one of the hosts of the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards. One of the inspirations for this new album is Chris’s favorite Bible verse.
“Hebrews 13 says, ‘Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.’ All those things are reasons why that word ‘aways’ is the title,” he continued. “There’s so much in that word – ‘always.’ And that’s what worship is. It is eternal.”
Chris wanted his listeners to know more about our eternity as worshippers of God and for them to know who God is.
“In these songs, what we do is eternal; we are joining in the eternal song of Heaven that never stops. Hopefully, people grab that when they hear this music. It’s a reminder of like, ‘Wow, I come before an always faithful, always present God.’”
