Skyler grew up attending church every Sunday because of his devoted Christian grandmother. But as a little boy, he barely understood his salvation in Christ. Eventually he started living as if he didn’t know God at all.

In middle school and high school, Skyler decided to be an atheist. He also dabbled in Satanism as a teenager. Everything was going well as he made his own path in life until one day he got a concussion.

God Reaches Out Amidst Concussion Pain

Skyler was lying in bed in pain with a severe concussion. He ended up passing out, but something incredible happened when he suddenly “saw the outline of Jesus.”

“He reached his hand out to me,” he recalled. Then God told him, “Don’t worry. You’re going to be okay.”

Skyler woke up, and his eyes had been opened. He felt convicted to repent for all the wrong things he had done. So, the teen immediately prayed and asked God to make a home in his heart again.

“Best decision I’ve ever made,” he remarked.

Today, Skyler has become a musician and is serving God for His glory.

This testimony reminds us of how much God loves to reach out to His children who are lost. He condemns sin but never condemns the sinner. No matter what we have done or how bad we think we are, God’s arms are always open to embrace us.

The Word of God promises in Romans 8:38, “nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.”

So, if you are someone who feels unworthy of God’s love because of your sins, know that He loves you. He doesn’t condemn you and wants to love you. Just simply turn back to Him like Skyler did!

An Atheist Finds God After Receiving Miracle Phone Call

An atheist for 25 years has found God when he presented Him with a condition of hearing his mom’s voice. Surprisingly, God took the deal, and now the atheist has become a successful businessman with an influence to tell others about God.

Patrick Bet-David, a successful Iranian businessman, fled to America with his family when he was 12 years old. The decision came from the government forcing 12-year-old boys into the military.

Fortunately, Patrick and his family were able to flee from the country and start a new life in America. But the young boy, then, had already witnessed many horrors in life. Thus, he believed that there wasn’t a God.

But Patrick would soon find out that what he believed wasn’t true.

In an interview, he shared the intimate story of how he encountered God. And it is something that every atheist should hear.

“I haven’t spoken to my mom for five years,” Patrick shared. “I have a new phone, and she doesn’t know my number.”

One day, at 2 in the morning, Patrick was crying all by himself, depressed and lonely. He wanted so much to hear from his mom.

“I was sitting there, and I said, ‘God, I don’t believe You exist. But if you do, I wanna hear my mom’s voice right now.”

Atheist Found God

Just seconds later, his phone rang.

He answered the call and heard his mom on the other end. She was crying and so he asked, “Why are you crying?”

She said, “Because God told me you are in pain. I had to call you.”

At that moment, Patrick was so shocked. He can only say, “What do you mean?”

Patrick continued, “I can’t even tell her what I’m experiencing at the moment ’cause it wasn’t about her at that time.”

The unveiling of God’s reality overwhelmed Patrick. At that moment he knew that there really is a God who listens to him.

Today, Patrick proclaims his faith in Jesus gives him confidence in facing life.

During an interview outside a Walmart, this woman shared her powerful testimony of how God saved her from the darkness. She was an atheist who despised God all her life because of the circumstances that she’d been through. She suffered from severe depression and even came to a point when she don’t want to live anymore.

“I was a devoted atheist and I was falling into Satanism. I was into New Age, I was depressed, I was drinking to numb the pain, I was trying to find something to fill this void I felt and I thought I could find it through other people and in men. It just led me to a more depressed state. To be completely honest with you, it’s not a proud moment I had and it’s just a part of my testimony, I had an abortion. For the longest time, I felt so much pain and so much hurt and it led me into this deep, dark depression to the point where I don’t want to live anymore,” she recalled.

Encounter with God in a Bathtub

While in the bathtub one night, she was crying so hard and out of her desperation, she called out to God.

“God, I know why I’m questioning why You’re even real… I need to know that You’re real,” she said at that moment.

After saying that prayer, God revealed Himself right at that moment! He then took her on a journey of healing and finding hope. From being an atheist who hated Christians, she is now a new creation who worships the Lord!

“But here’s a thing, there’s healing through God. There is healing and there is hope and Jesus is our living hope.”

An atheist asked tough questions about God but Frank Turek had some epic answers for him.

A young atheist man came up to Christian author Frank Turek to ask him tough questions about God. The young man, Carter, first asked who designed God and who designed the universe. With the wisdom and knowledge of heaven, Frank gave him an incredible answer.

“God did not have a beginning. He’s the uncaused first cause. Aristotle and Plato knew this, they knew there had to be an unmoved mover… God is in another dimension that has the ability to bring these dimensions into existence. So if you want to call it other dimensions, you can call it that. But that’s exactly what we mean by God,” Frank answered him.

He then asked an interesting question, “Why do we worship God?” The Christian apologetic then answered him sharing that everyone has free will to worship God or not. No one is forced by God to worship Him.

“You don’t have to worship God… You can do whatever you want, that’s why we have free will. God loves you enough to give you free will. You can love him or reject him, that’s up to you,” he said.

“There are only two possibilities if God exists. In eternity, you’re going to be with Him or you’re not going to be with Him. That’s logically the only two options. If you want to be with Him, you will seek Him out and be with Him. If you don’t want to be with Him, God will not for you into His presence against your will.”

That’s how great the Father’s love is. He gave all His children the choice to be with Him or not and it’s up to us where would we want to spend our eternity.

“God loves you too much to force you into His presence against your will.”

This conversation between a professor and a student teaches us a powerful message about who God is.

An atheist professor wanted to prove to his students that God did not exist so he asked them some questions. He first asked them if does evil exist? A Christian student stood up and answered his questions and affirmed the existence of evil. The professor then asked him if God created everything. The student answered yes.

“If God created everything, then God created evil. Then He is evil in it of himself,” the professor said.

God’s Existence

Believing that God really existed and that He is a good God, the Christian student wanted to prove this to his professor. So he asked him another series of questions and here’s how their conversation went:

Student: “Does cold exist?”

Professor: “Of course, have you never been cold?”

Student: “Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. You measure temperature by how much heat is in the atmosphere. Does darkness exist?”

Professor: “Yes”

Student: “Sir, you’re wrong. Darkness does not exist. Darkness is the lack of light. You measure how dark it is by the lack of light. Does evil exist?”

Professor: “Of course, it exists. Haven’t you seen the crime all around the world?”

Student: “Sir, the evil does not exist, at least not unto itself. Evil is the absence of God, evil is what happens when men don’t have God’s love in their hearts. Evil is like cold when there is no heat and darkness when there’s no light.”

Phil Beck Braga then revealed that the student in his story was Albert Einstein, a well-known Scientist who also believed in God. Science can’t disprove God’s existence, it actually proves His existence. God exists and He is alive, just because we can’t see Him in people around us doesn’t mean He never existed. We just need to believe in Him and see Him in all the goodness we see every day.

Backslidden Preacher Turned Atheist Returns To Jesus

Mike Signorelli grew up in Northwest Indiana in a family filled with violence and abuse. His mother became a single mom after his dad cheated on her. She remarried a drug addict who also physically abused her. Stuck in an unending cycle of abuse, his mother saw hope in a newspaper ad.

The newspaper ad was from a pastor who was looking for a worship leader. She called the number in the ad and the pastor and his wife came to their home and led her to Christ. He saw joy in his mom, it was something that he had never seen before. Mike’s mother then led him to receive Jesus Christ at the age of five.

His mother became a worship leader in their local church and he also started accompanying her at a young age as an instrumentalist. But his real encounter with Jesus Christ happened when he was 15. Mike was reading the story of Peter in Acts 2 at that time when he asked God to make him like Peter, a transformed man.

Right after his prayer, he felt a wind blow into his room, he started speaking in tongues and experienced a great transformation. The introvert soon became a preacher. However, during his college years, he drifted away from his faith after an atheist professor questioned God’s existence. He fell for the lies and eventually became an atheist too.

“It was because I had let that atheistic, the secular, the humanistic thing come into me.”

However, God continued to pursue him. One day, a Christian roommate showed him the way back to Jesus Christ.

“Christianity is not just for ignorant people, Christianity is for everybody and you can defend through reason the tenets of our faith. Actually, Science proves, doesn’t disproves,” his roommate told him.

Rededicated his life to Jesus

Mike’s eyes were opened and he started to realize the truth about God. Right there in their dorm room, he rededicated his life back to Christ. Today, he is now married to his wife Julie and has two daughters. He is also the senior pastor at a church in New York.

“It all started way back when how God’s been threading that narrative through my life of just complete and total surrender and just saying yes over and over and over again. No matter how crazy it looks, no matter how wild it looks, no matter how impossible it looks, knowing that he is going to make all things possible.”

Atheist Becomes A Christian After Reading A C.S. Lewis Book

Nathan was an atheist who became a Christian after reading one of C.S. Lewis’ books. It led him to know Jesus.

Even though Nathan remembered going to the church when he was a kid, he didn’t personally know God.

“I had a sense that there was a God, but I didn’t know what that meant,” he said.

He initially thought that God would do anything for him because he believed that with God, all things are possible. That’s why he couldn’t understand why God allowed Nathan to go through a heart-wrenching breakup.

“She broke up with me, and I was absolutely devastated… That was the worst pain I’d ever experienced at that time. I then decided that I was an atheist. Because if there was a God, how could He have possibly allowed this to happen in my life?” Nathan said.

Atheist Became a Christian

Nathan started doing drugs and partying as a teenager, which he continued into college. It became the center of his life.

“But there was no absolute joy, no peace. There was just increasing misery,” he described that experience.

“I remember being in my apartment, laying down like just on the floor in such a depressed state, and just having nothing to live for. I remember lying there in absolute despair with no answers. And nothing. But it was then that everything started to change,” he said.

Nathan became a Christian when he met Jesus in a very unique and unexpected way.

Atheist Becomes a Christian After Reading A C.S. Lewis’ Book

It all began with a connection with a coworker he started dating while working as a bartender. Her father was a minister, but she preferred to date people who were very different from her father. They later got married after having a child together. They occasionally went to see her parents and went to a church where his father-in-law was the pastor.

He received C.S. Lewis’s book Mere Christianity during one of those visits. The book sat for many months by his bedside. Then one evening he began reading the book when he was unable to sleep. He was shocked to discover that Jesus was genuine as he read the book. It opened his eyes to believe that Jesus was Lord. The scales had been lifted from his eyes!

“I became absolutely convinced in that moment that Jesus Christ is exactly who He says He is. And at that moment, all I knew was that I knew nothing. I know that Jesus is Lord; I know that I’m a sinner; and other than that, I don’t know anything. I got out of my bed at about 3:30 in the morning, went into my bathroom, fell down on the floor, and gave my life to Jesus Christ. I asked Him to forgive me of my sins. And my wife woke up the next morning to an entirely different person,” he concluded.

God’s Love

God’s love knows no bounds, and one proof is how an atheist became a Christian just by reading a book.

If you feel like you’ve walked away from the Lord, always remember that He never left your side.

Radical Atheist Transformed By Encounter With Jesus

A radical atheist spent his early years arguing with Christians. He wanted to stir up doubts and questions in God’s people because of his unbelief. The radical atheist just needed a radical encounter, so that’s what God did to Viktar Saikouski.

Radical Atheist

Viktar grew up in a troubled family in Belarus. After his dad left them, his mother found another man, and she got married again. And since that time, Viktar was “married into the belief of atheism.” He said, “I truly believe that there’s no such thing as God.”

When his mom and stepdad got divorced because of their alcohol and drug abuse, Viktar’s mom decided to move the family to the US for better opportunities.

Soon, his stepdad also moved to the US and came to salvation in Jesus Christ. He reached out to Viktar’s family again and wanted to reconcile.

Viktar did not believe that “church” could change his stepdad. He and his mother found it very hard to believe. But eventually, his stepdad showed the transformation, and he and Viktar’s mom remarried again.

The family now attended church because of his stepdad. But Viktar remained an “unbelieving believer.”

Radical Encounter

Then at a prayer gathering, Viktar experienced God’s presence which changed his life. After getting prayed for, Viktar fell to the ground, and for three to four hours, he encountered God.

“God, at that moment, seemed more real to me than ever before,” he shared. God entirely delivered Viktar from his unbelief and addiction.

“At that moment, I experienced the presence and love of the Holy Spirit like I never felt it before.”

Since that day, Viktar has been a changed man. God’s presence truly transformed his life.

“Even though I did not believe in God, even though I cursed God, God still chose me. God still believed in me. God loved me and encountered me even in the midst of all my unbelief, in the midst of denying Him, God loved me and chose me.”

In a YouTube podcast interview with CBN News’ Billy Hallowell, former abortion provider Dr. Vansen Wong of Sacramento, California, shared his life testimony.

At first, Billy participated in abortions for a practical reason, to earn money. That’s why he performed hundreds of abortion operations for years just doing his job. The doctor didn’t know what he was doing was wrong. To him, he was merely “providing a service” to women who wanted it. The doctor perceived it as helping these women.

One of the procedures Vansen learned was dilation and curettage (D&C). Abortion doctors first assess the baby’s status inside the mother’s womb to know how they would remove the forming baby.

“Because if you’re wrong and either she’s not pregnant in the uterus or if she’s too far along, bad things can happen,” he explained.

Doctor Vansen emphasized how it could lead to complications if abortion doctors wrongly assessed these women. Also, he could empathize with these women because he had two relationships with women who went through abortion too.

Making A Deal With God

Vansen and his family attended church, but his values didn’t coincide with valuing an unborn baby’s life. At first, he never really understood until he faced adversity that made him challenge God.

The state reviewed Vansen’s medical license and bargained with God about his situation.

“That possibility led me to try to make a bargain with God,” he recounted. “You see, because we had started our family, got a new home in a nice neighborhood, and if I’m not a doctor, I’m not making any money. What’s going to happen to us financially and socially? And how do I tell my friends and relatives what has happened?”

“I prayed that ‘God, if you can get me through this mess, I’ll be yours.’ And so that’s how I became a Christian,” he added.

Furthermore, a preaching in church convinced Vansen as the Holy Spirit convicted him about the Word. He realized that performing abortion procedures were indeed “barbaric” and “wrong.”

“The body parts were smaller for me, but the act and the effect on that little baby was just as barbaric,” he shared. “And so, it was at that point that I realized that abortion was no longer something I should be participating in.”

Canadian Atheist Downloads Bible App To Disprove Dad’s Faith But Got Transformed Instead

A Canadian atheist tried to refute his dad’s faith, so he downloaded a Bible app to find errors in it. Instead, he was drawn in by Jesus and got transformed.

YouVersion Bible App creator and founder Bobby Gruenewald told Billy Hallowell of FaithWire about Scott, the atheist’s fantastic conversion. “He downloaded the [YouVersion] Bible app in an effort to refute his father, who was a Christian,” Bobby said. “He wanted to basically say, ‘Look, I read the Bible, and I’m going to show you why what you believe is wrong.'”

But what turned out was a lovely transformation of a lost son to a child of God. “[Scott] began to see God’s voice in Scripture,” Bobby continued.

“God literally used him reading the Bible app in an effort to try and disprove his father’s religion to lead him into a relationship with Jesus. It just shows the transformational power of scripture.”

Today, Scott has become a believer and follower of Christ.

YouVersion Bible App

Scott’s story is only one of the millions Bobby and his team have heard. God has used the YouVersion Bible app to reveal Himself to His lost children and has led many to a relationship with Christ.

And this week, YouVersion has reached a milestone with 500 million installs.

“We just really feel blessed to be a part of something that God’s done. It’s a hundred percent something God’s done. It’s pretty clear that it’s not something we would be able to do on our own,” Bobby shared.

His team has seen an increase in the number of Bible reading over the years, proving wrong today’s issue that biblical faith is somehow dying.

“The Bible’s alive. We see people turning to His word in huge numbers.”

Statistics showed that Bible reading raised to 21% in 2021 compared to 2020. The growth rose significantly during the pandemic when people turned to God’s word in times of uncertainty.

With the trend today, I believe God is really setting something up that will shake the world. Revival is coming to all generations.
