Rich Wilkerson Jr., reveals the thing we have that can get the attention of God. We are not defined by our experiences, our past, and even our current situation. But we can be defined by how we respond and react to our circumstances.
No matter what we’re facing right now, always remember the eternal life that Jesus has promised us. Respond to every trial with hope in your heart and assurance that you will live on.
“It’s not about what happens to you in life, it’s about how you respond to what happens to you… Regardless of your present situation, regardless of your current circumstance, we serve a God who declares over your life that you will live on. You’re going to live on, Jesus declares it. You will live on,” Rich said.
Integrity And Character
This generation should learn about integrity because it’s what can sustain us in our journey. Who we are in private? Are we the same person of faith even if we’re all alone? Remember that God is always watching us even if there seems to be no one watching us. He knows everything about us.
“It’s time that we call this generation to another level. I don’t want us just to have talent that takes us to a place where our character can’t sustain us. Integrity. Can we actually live this thing out in private? Integrity is that thing that you do when nobody seems to be watching you… But the truth is, when it seems like nobody’s watching you, God is always watching.”
The thing that can get the attention of God is our character. Who we are in Him and our surrendered hearts are the things that matter the most.
“Charisma will get the attention of men, but the character will always get the attention of God.”
