Authority over your thoughts
Founder of Christian World Changers Church International, Creflo Dollar, shares a life-changing message about having authority over your thoughts. He started his message by explaining that the enemy will always try to instill lies into our minds. Thoughts that are negating what the Word of God is telling us.
However, we should not let those thoughts take over us. We must speak the Word of God over those thoughts so that it won’t be a stronghold of the enemy.
“Don’t let that thought remain in your mind be used as material to construct a fortress in your head, construct a stronghold. Cast it down. How do you cast it down? You open your mouth, you speak the Word of God that contradicts the thought that went in your mind,” Creflo said.

He then referenced 2 Corinthians 10:5 to emphasize that we all have the authority over the lies of the enemy.
“That’s authority right there, look how powerful that is. You can capture every negative thought and cast it down with the Word of God,” he added.
If we can have authority over our thoughts, then we can also control our emotions. Oftentimes, what we feel is the outcome of what we’re thinking.
“If you can control your thought life… then you can control your emotions. Control your thoughts, if you control the way you think, you can control the way you feel.”
The Lord has given us authority over ourselves, and that includes our thoughts and our emotions. Let us always align our thoughts and minds to the Word of God and we’ll be able to see Him move in our lives!
