How focused are you on the balance of tasks that need to get done that you miss the call of what God has for you in each day? Attaining balance seems to be a cultural buzzword that many seek after. And while balance might feel synonymous with peace, it will only fall short of peace’s illusion, because the person of Jesus is peace. How are you letting Him lead you in what, who, and where you are led?
If you find yourself overwhelmed with getting all of the things you need to done, consider taking the opportunity to re-evaluate with God where you are meant to be and what you are meant to be doing in this season. You may find that His peace lingers in areas that have not taken priority for you.
What has God called you to?
This might be your job, health, family, or a dream you’ve carried together for years. It can even be all of these things in varying capacities. Take the time to evaluate on what you are doing with God, asking him to reveal the places where He wants to infuse His peace into your day.
Pray this: “Holy Spirit, let your peace move me in the directions, plans, and places I am meant to give my attention to today.”
How Does the Peace of Jesus bring Balance?
Understanding where you are meant and what you are meant to be doing won’t automatically bring your life to a perfect balance. But, the presence of Jesus is peace Himself. This ever-present peace is the balance that so many seek after. There are no formulas for getting everything in our lives into balance, however, the person who calls chaos into order sustains you from the inside with His peace, nature, and revitalizing life.
