A Jewish billionaire who thought money, fame, and power could make him happy encounters Yeshua one night as he desperately cried out to Him.
Jewish Roots
Steve Olin grew up in a Jewish home. Hence, he always went to the synagogue and was always present in Jewish celebrations with his family. As a young boy, playing in major league baseball was his dream. The teen almost reached his goal, but his dad stopped him because he wanted him to graduate college first. What’s even sadder was that years later, he had to give up playing baseball because he hurt his arm while playing during his college years.

Becoming A Billionaire
Later on, Steve decided to enter the business world, where he rose very quickly. Every position he went into made him climb the ladder until he got to the very top of the business world. At 31-years-old, Steve started his own electronics company. And within eight years, he gained two billion dollars in sales. The electronics company Steve founded had reached six billion dollars in worth. He became a billionaire and had everything he wanted in life, including a great wife and child.
However, despite all the success Steve had achieved, he began to have panic attacks. And now he’s wondering why, when he had gained everything life could offer.
“I had Satan’s lie that money, power, and fame will make you happy. Well, that’s a lie. If you don’t have God in your life, if you only have material things in your life,” the Jewish billionaire said.
Finding Yeshua
Going to a psychiatrist couldn’t even help him. The doctor only gave him sleeping pills to numb the problem temporarily. Eventually, Steve became addicted to cocaine, started to party, run around women, and commit adultery. Until one day, he lost everything and nearly became homeless.
Two weeks before becoming homeless, Steve desperately cried out to God. And all of a sudden, God spoke to him.
