Mother’s Prayer Birthed A Miracle For Family’s Boat That Got Sucked Into A Power Dam

A family day out became a horrifying experience when their boat got sucked into a power dam. Until mother’s desperate prayer birthed a miracle, “Jesus, I need You to walk on water right now.”

Whole Family Sucked Into A Power Dam

One day, the Merritt family went out sightseeing and bonding on the Lakeside of the Georgia Power Dam. It was a great day for the family riding on their boat when an unexpected horror unfolded before their eyes.

During that time, Kelly, her husband, and two children didn’t know that the open gates of the dam were creating a strong current underwater. Hence, they lost control of the boat as the current pulled it closer to a concrete wall. On top of that, they went faster, because it was sucking the boat. Soon, it smashed into the side of the concrete wall and found themselves helpless.

Praying For A Miracle

At that point, Kelly responded in the way she knew how—pray. She desperately prayed and cried out to God to save them. Meanwhile, her son tried to jump off the boat into the water. But he only got sucked by the water, and they lost sight of him. After that, she immediately grabbed her daughter and embraced her to protect her. But as soon as the boat got sucked through the concrete wall as well, she was forced to let go of her.

Kelly accepted her fate that day that she might die after being dropped by the strong current. But even during those times, she had a conversation with God. Kelly thanked God for the life He gave her. But she wouldn’t want to live anymore if her family had died. So, she said, “Jesus, I need You to walk on water right now.” The mother knew she only needed Jesus at that moment. Not an ambulance, a helicopter, or a life flight.

“I need a Miracle Worker, I need Jesus,” the mom declared.

Later on, Kelly witnessed a miracle, and God proved Himself faithful to her. Watch what happened.

God Rescues Boat Crashed In Alligator-Infested Waters

A boat crashed and flipped in the middle of the night in alligator infested waters as two men rushed over to rescue their grandson. It could’ve been the end for them if God didn’t show up and answered their desperate cries.

Boat Flips Over

On father’s day weekend in 2016, Mike Turner’s grandson, Landon, drove in a boat that broke down in the swamps near Baton Rouge. Landon called his grandfather and asked for his help. And soon after, Mike and his friend Billy who previously had heart surgery, launched into the boat charging towards Landon.

The bright moonlit night became Mike and Billy’s light that late night while driving the boat. They could see everything but the stumps in the water that were submerged about six inches. The boat ran about 38 miles an hour, and then it hit something and flipped over.

Miracle

Instantly, Mike found himself in the waters trapped under the boat while the impact tossed Billy away from the boat. Both struggled to breathe and prayed for their lives. But God did a miracle that they were eventually able to rest in the capsized hull.

“How we made it through the initial wreck without getting hurt, only God knows,” Mike attested.

Alligator Infested Waters

But a new problem surfaced after Mike shone a flashlight into the waters. Tons of alligators surrounded them. All Mike and Billy could do at that moment was to pray harder, trusting God for His intervention.

Meanwhile, Landon sensed something wrong had happened to his grandfather along the way. And so he prayed to God to get his motor started. And the next time Landon tried to start the engine, it miraculously cranked. He drove towards the boat launch and indeed saw Mike and Billy resting in the capsized hull.

God never left them behind. If not for His intervention, the accident would have ended awry.

“It was God,” Mike testified.

Teens Lost At Sea For 2 Hours Prayed, Then God Sends A Boat Named ‘AMEN’

Two teens from Florida who were lost at sea after swimming off the shore desperately prayed for rescue, and after almost two hours, God miraculously sent a big yacht called “Amen.”

Tyler Smith and Heather Brown were enjoying their senior skip day with their classmates from Christ Church Academy when an unfortunate incident happened.

Lost At Sea For Almost 2 Hours

Both being good swimmers, the two athletes decided to swim across the St. Augustine inlet from Vilano Point Anastasia island 500 yards away. However, it was a lot further than they thought. As they continued to swim, they found themselves further and further away from shore. The shore was out of sight and all they could see was the vast ocean. Both decided to stop swimming and used the strength they had left to stay afloat hoping they could survive.

God rescues teens

From that point, Tyler and Heather’s goal was to hold out until rescue comes. Both friends prayed desperately for a miracle.

Praying For Miracle

Eventually, after an hour and a half, their friends noticed they were missing. Somebody called 911 and Heather’s mother was notified. She got the call when she was at church. Then the church started to pray for the missing teenagers.

While on the rough seas, and now tired, Heather and Tyler struggled to keep afloat.

“I was like screaming, ‘God, please help’,” over and over again,” Heather recalled.

While Tyler said, “God, please just save us. Can You please just send something for us.”

God Sends A Big Yacht “AMEN”

The young man thought it was going to be the last day of his life. Exhausted and losing hope, they suddenly heard a boat engine over the waves.

God sends a miracle

Eric Wagner, the boat owner didn’t come for them. Along with his three-man crew, they made a last-minute decision to run the yacht in the open ocean even though the wind was strong.

The two teenagers found hope and screamed louder for help.

Miraculously, the boat heard and saw them. By the time they pulled Heather and Tyler out of the water, they saw the name of the boat “The Amen.”

When Heather was aboard, the first thing she said was “God is real.” Since then, both were strengthened in their faith and their relationship with God grew deeper.

7-Year-Old Miraculously Awakes From A Coma After Being Stranded At Sea

7-year-old Julian Honen miraculously woke up from a coma after being stranded in the cold ocean for six hours! If you don’t believe that miracles still happen, you should read this young boy’s story!

Stranded at sea

Julian was with his dad, Maike Hohnen, and a family friend, Stephen Jeacocke, when the accident occurred. They were on a fishing boat off Caloundra on Australia’s Sunshine Coast on a fishing trip when it happened.

They were about eight miles away from land when their boat was suddenly turned upside down, plunging all of them into the freezing cold water. Fortunately, they were able to send a distress signal a few moments before they flipped. They were forced to tread the cold and dark water for six long hours before being finally rescued.

Hypothermia

While in the water, Maike and Stephen took turns to keep Julian afloat while clinging to the debris from the boat. They were all diagnosed with hypothermia but with such a little body, Julian was in critical condition with only a small chance of survival.

Hypothermia occurs when a body loses heat faster than it can produce it, causing a dangerously low body temperature. In Julian’s case, being in freezing waters for a very long time, it resulted in a critical drop of body temperature. Julian was placed in an induced coma to save his life.

The miracle

Miraculously, Julian recently woke from a coma and is already in stable condition. Moments after waking up, he immediately began talking to his family.

Julian’s parents have stated: “Our son has improved significantly today and is now in a stable condition and talking to us. This is a testament to his fighting spirit.”

I’m so glad that our God is still the God of miracles!

Boat Called ‘Amen’ Saved Two Teens Stranded in The Ocean After Praying For Help

Eric Wagner bought the boat called “Amen” six years ago.

He never imagined that the boat will be an actual answer for two Teenagers prayers from Florida.

“Amen”

Last Month, Eric Wagner and his crew were sailing from Delray Beach, Florida to New Jersey. The wind was 15-20kn and the seas were rough but they decided to sail anyway.

They were about 2 miles offshore when Eric thought he heard a desperate scream. Wagner didn’t believe his ears at first, but when they saw an arm waving in the body of water over the swells 200 yards behind them, they started to make a U-turn.

Eric and his team tried everything to save what they saw; and It was a two young couple, they pulled the two teens back to the swim deck.

“Nothing but bathing suits on. Too weak to climb the swim deck ladder we pushed and pulled them aboard. The engines were off so we were at the mercy of the waves; all of us falling left and right dodging the sliding items we failed to secure well. Both were shivering and pale, his lips were white. She was lucid, he seemed to be struggling to answer our questions but coherent.” Eric said in his post from Facebook.

Two Florida teens

The two teens named Tyler Smith and Heather Brown told CNN affiliate, WJAX, that they had been in the water for almost two hours before they were rescued. They had gone swimming at Vilano Beach, near St. Augustine, to celebrate senior skip day and got caught in a current that pulled them farther and farther away from the bay.

Smith and Brown were getting weaker and losing hope, so they started praying and realized how real God really is the moment they saw a boat named “Amen” coming toward them. The young couple was gracious and grateful to Eric’s team and to God.

God is faithful and just, He will never drive away anyone that comes to Him. This testimony reminds us that God is always good. He is alive and always answers our prayers.
