The Voice Star Bodie Joins Brandon Lake On Stage To Perform ‘Gratitude’

The Voice Season 22 star Bodie reached second place in the competition’s finale show after performing Brandon Lake’s Gratitude. So on Brandon Lake’s tour stop in Los Angeles, he invited Bodie on stage to sing the winning piece together.

Bodie Kuljian left the judges and audience in tears after his rendition of Brandon’s “Gratitude.” As a result, he became the crowd’s favorite and even gained many fans.

Bodie’s worship performance moved every viewer. Judge Gwen Stefani said, “I’m choking on my tears over here. You have a superpower behind you; it’s a truth. I think it comes from your pure faith that you have…I can’t even speak right now; that was so beautiful.”

Moreover, his coach, Blake Shelton, recognized Bodie’s stage as “one of the most moving performances he had ever seen.”

Meanwhile, the original singer, Brandon, thanked Bodie for singing the song to a secular audience. And then, he invited Bodie to sing the song with him.

Bodie didn’t think anything could top the feeling of his performance in “The Voice,” but then Brandon texted him. And the 29 year old was so stoked with the invitation.

He replied, “So down, dude! LMK when and where.”

The concert was one of Brandon Lake’s “Miracle Nights Tour.” On his Instagram account, Bodie shared clips of his time with Brandon. He went to the venue at the Youtube Theater and sang “Gratitude” once again.

“Such a special night,” he wrote. “BIG love to Brandon and his team for having me out. ur an incredible leader, and I look up to you greatly.”

Brandon commented, “THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!”

One TV producer also commented that she was delighted to see Bodie go full circle with Brandon. She said, “…seeing that moment when you performed it and watching the crowd become moved almost in unison by the power of that moment was truly one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed on our show.”

Bodie Wows ‘The Voice’ Finale With Worship Performance Singing Brandon Lake’s ‘Gratitude’

Christian contestant, Bodie, wowed “The Voice” finale with his worship performance singing Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude.”

In the recent season of NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ California native Bodie became a fan favorite. He was on the team with judge Blake Shelton and made it to the finale. When he performed during the two-part finale, he amazed both the crowd and the judges.

Full of conviction, Bodie sang the Christian worship leader’s song “Gratitude” onstage. He remarked that it was for his three children.

“I know it’s not much/ But I’ve nothing else fit for a king/ Except for a heart singing hallelujah/ Hallelujah,” the contender sang.

And as he continued to sing, the 29-year-old then belted out with the choir accompanying him, creating a piece of beautiful music. Also, the choir lifted their hands in worship as they performed.

“So come on, my soul/ Oh, don’t you get shy on me/ Lift up your song/’Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs/ Get up and praise the Lord,” Bodie declared through music.

Moved Audience And Judges

His worship performance touched both ‘The Voice’ judges and the audience. Judge Gwen Stefani shared how she held back her tears over his feat.

“I’m choking on my tears over here,” Gwen commented. “You have a superpower behind you, it’s a truth. I think it comes from your pure faith that you have…I can’t even speak right now, that was so beautiful.”

Furthermore, his team coach, judge Black Shelton, added that Bodie’s was “one of the most moving performances” he had ever seen.

Also, judge John Legend called him a “leader” and encouraged the singer to do “whatever you want to do, you have that in you.”

But despite the remarkable comments, Bodie didn’t win as Champion in the Season 22 of “The Voice.” But thankfully, he came in second place.

Meanwhile, worship leader, Brandon Lake, rejoiced with Bodie for his powerful worship performance. He shared it on Instagram. He’s grateful to Bodie that millions heard his worship music from the secular audience.
