A woman who loses her son from suicide and suffers a brain tumor still chooses to thank God amidst the pain and suffering.

Son Introduced To Porn

Rosanne had a son named Mark. He was a happy little boy who was creative and active. Things were going well with her eldest son until a classmate introduced him to pornography at 14 years old. That’s when things started to go awry between Mark and his parents.

Rosanne and her husband, Rod, disciplined their son after discovering he was watching porn. But Mark began rebelling against his mom and dad. He only resisted every form of discipline his parents did and broke every rule they created. Then a year later, he began using marijuana and dropped out of school.

Praying Mom Amidst Suffering

Mark’s mom and dad greatly struggled dealing with him. But despite his unpleasant behaviors, Rosanne prayed to God to help her love her son. That’s when God reminded the mom that He loved Mark more than she could ever imagine.

Soon, the couple took their son to counseling, but it didn’t help like they were hoping. It got worse and Mark ran away from home. He also stole money from his parents to feed his drug addiction. At that point, Rosanne and Rod gave up on their son and just let him have his way.

“It was hurting me, but I had to let him live with the consequences of what he chose to do,” the father recalled.

Later on, Mark became homeless and was in and out of jail because of drugs. Years later, Mark finally had a change of heart and went into rehab. In rehab, he gave his life to Jesus and made a strong commitment to theLord. Hope began to arise in the heart of Rosanne and Rod. But soon, they had to face another challenge. Mark’s drug use for many years affected his brain. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia. And it wouldn’t be long before he took his own life.

Rosanne and Rod felt devastated by the tragic death of their son. Adding up to the loss was when Rosanne was diagnosed with a brain tumor. But amidst it all, she still thanked God for everything.

Man With Brain Tumor Defy Doctor’s Prediction Of 2 Months To Live

Doctors gave a man with a brain tumor only two months to live. But six years later, he’s crediting God for the miracle of life: “To me, its 100% God.”

Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

In 2016, Israel Lemus suddenly suffered from a massive seizure. As soon as he was rushed to the hospital, doctors discovered the 29-year-old had “a tumor the size of a golf ball in his brain.” According to tests, his tumor was “glioblastoma grade 4.” Thus, the cancer was aggressive and advanced.

Following Israel’s diagnosis, doctors predicted he only had two months to live. One of his doctor’s reasons, Dr. Jay-Jiguang Zhu, was because “there is no cure for his cancer.” But despite it, he fought the battle and went through every cancer treatment available. He also underwent three surgeries, according to KHOU 11.

Crediting God

And six years later, Israel is crediting God for the miracle that he’s still alive. Furthermore, within that six years, he got “engaged, married, bought his first house and even changed careers.”

“To me, its 100% God. His mystery is my God,” he attested in an interview with KHOU 11. “Honestly I’m thankful to God for every day. The first thing I do when I wake up and the last thing I do before going to sleep is thank God for that day.”

Also, his doctor testified that it was indeed a miracle because they’ve seen the “disease on his MRI.” And they haven’t declared he’s on “remission” already. But he lived longer than what medical science expected.

Meanwhile, Israel says he doesn’t feel any cancer in his body anymore, regardless of the scanned results.

“I don’t feel like I have cancer,” he said. “The scans may show different and the doctors may say different, but in my mind, I’m in remission.”

Israel’s wife, Samantha, also calls him a miracle.

18-Year-Old With Inoperable Cancerous Brain Tumor Got Healed & Becomes A Pastor

An 18-year-old teen who almost died because of an inoperable cancerous brain tumor got healed and became a pastor.

Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

TJ Lynch grew up in a Christian home with dreams of becoming successful and climbing the corporate ladder. Hence, he went to college, taking a business and marketing course. But one day, that dream was suddenly crushed when the teen was diagnosed with a brain tumor following an eyesight check-up. He was then sent to the emergency room, and doctors found out the cancer was inoperable.

At some point, the 18-year-old got angry at God because of his condition. But in the end, TJ surrendered to God when the church community sincerely prayed for him. The prayers from people moved the teen to the core that he felt the Presence of God through them. Then his eyes were opened to the importance of church and community.

“This was just part of life and yet God was there—through people,” he said.

Responding To God’s Call As A Pastor

Thirteen years later, TJ has become a pastor and is leading a church cancer-free. He is also married with a 3-year-old child and twins coming. And now he looks back and says, “If you told me I’d be a pastor I would’ve laughed.”

Then the now 31-year-old attests that it was God’s work how he became a pastor.

“God, the holy spirit, was at work through it all,” TJ recalled. “You’re 18 and you almost die. It kind of changes your perspective on life.”

While still battling cancer, one day at church, he felt God pat him on the shoulder. That’s when the teen responded to God’s call to become a pastor. And 31 years later, the pastor has become a great blessing to the flock God entrusted to him.

One church member, Joy McLemore, attested TJ’s outstanding leadership as a pastor.

“I’ve never been one to seek out pastors for counseling,” the 76-year-old said. “But I seek him out for ice cream.” They apparently go for ice cream together whenever she needs someone to talk to.

“TJ is just a blessing that appeared right when my family needed it,” she remarked. “He’s fun and funny. He feeds my faith. He’s open-minded, open-hearted. What he says to us at the end of every sermon is, ‘God loves you and so do I,’ and you feel it.”

Aside from being an entertainment reporter, Maria Menounos is a professional wrestler, actress, and a businesswoman. She hosted Extra and E! News and is currently the CEO of an online podcast series entitled AfterBuzzTv.

Maria’s mother was previously diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and was able to bravely and courageously fight it.  Despite her busy schedule, Maria still managed to be at her mother’s side throughout the difficult journey of being a cancer patient.

While her mother was going through treatment, Maria started experiencing similar symptoms: headaches, dizziness, and stammered speech. She knew they were the familiar symptoms of brain cancer.

But in 2017, she too found herself in the same situation as her mother and was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Bad news doesn’t mean God is not still at work

Recalling all the symptoms that her mother experienced, Maria suddenly felt that she too was having issues that were a haunting reminder of her mother’s own struggle with cancer. When she began experiencing headaches and dizziness, along with stammered speech, she feared it could be brain cancer.

I said, ‘I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but I feel like I have a brain tumor like my mom,'” Maria recalled telling her doctor.

Maria was right, the doctors have discovered that she has a brain tumor like her mother. But this bad doctor’s report hasn’t topped her from believing that God is real and is always at work.

She believed that her situation was a blessing!

Maria laughed at her sickness

Maria went to the same doctor for help, that treated her mom. After some diagnostic tests, the doctor found a golf ball-sized tumor on her brain.

“I didn’t cry. I actually laughed, It’s so surreal and crazy and unbelievable that my mom has a brain tumor – and now I have one too?” Maria said.

“He said there’s a six to seven percent chance that we’ll see it come back…But I’ll take those odds any day,” she added.

The renowned neurosurgeon Dr Keith L Black completed her surgery on June 8, 2017—Maria’s 39th birthday.

Maria viewed her situation as a ‘blessing’

She knew that from the start her condition would bring about good, despite the fear of the cancer prognosis. It was a time of bringing her family closer together, which was a blessing in disguise.

“I think that there have been a lot of beautiful things that have come even just from my mom’s illness,” she said, as she seeks to find the good in the situation..

“For me, I saw it as a huge blessing and a huge gift because I needed to change my life,” Maria said, shedding tears.

“I’ve said it before, we’re caretakers as women and we help everybody and we put ourselves last always. And I don’t think that we – at least for me – I guess I realized I didn’t value myself in a lot of ways. And so I think that was a really important lesson,” she added.

Maria posted on her Instagram account recently that her brain tumor recovery has allowed her to do things she never had time to do before.

Doctors Baffled When 11-year-old Girl’s Inoperable Brain Tumor Miraculously Disappears

Roxli Doss, an 11-year-old girl, was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). It is a cancerous brain tumor that cannot be cured. Doctors from different hospitals examined Roxli, and they all agreed that she was suffering from the terrible, deadly disease.

But God had other plans when Roxli received a miraculous gift. After her parents, Gena and Scotts Doss, prayed for a miracle to happen, God answered by pouring out His wonders to Roxli.

 

“It is very rare, but when we see it, it is a devastating disease,” said Dr. Virginia Harrod with Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. “You have decreased ability to swallow, sometimes vision loss, decreased ability to talk, eventually difficulty with breathing.”

During this devastating time in their lives, Roxli and her family never gave up. The courageous Roxli went through weeks of radiation and other treatments. Their community also helped them by raising funds to help pay for medical costs, and most of all by praying for a miracle to happen.

God heard their prayers – a wonderful miracle happened.

When the doctors conducted an MRI of Roxli’s brain, they noticed a strange phenomenon. The tumor had miraculously disappeared. The doctors were completely puzzled and couldn’t explain what happened.

“When I first saw Roxli’s MRI scan, it was actually unbelievable,” Dr. Harrod said. “The tumor is undetectable on the MRI scan, which is really unusual.”

Roxli’s parents knew completely at that moment who healed their daughter. They were crying for joy because of what God given to their daughter: a miraculous healing and a new lease on life. The whole family wholeheartedly thank God for saving Roxli.

This wonderful testimony proves that our God is a miracle-working God. He works in ways we cannot see and understand. We have to trust in His great love for us. Do not give up and receive the miracle healing that God wants to pour out on your life.

WATCH: Georgia Police Officer Prays Over Little Boy With Brain Tumor

In May of this year, 9-year-old boy, Jalen Manns, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. According to his mother, the tumor caused psychological and sensory problems for him for some time. It was evident that Jalen needed surgery as soon as possible.

For this reason, Jalen’s family created a Facebook page for him. In order to gather a support system across the nation, they shared his story on the page. That’s when a Georgia newspaper picked up Jalen’s story. The word got out fast from there and the community was quickly to rally showing their support for the young boy. However, police officers from Warner Robins Police Department surprised everyone when they provided great emotional and spiritual support, not just financial.

One day, as Jalen was about to leave for his biopsy at Navicent Health, several officers arrived at his doorstep. To their surprise, they didn’t simply escort the family, one police officer sincerely prayed for Jalen along with his family.

The comfort of prayer

When they were outside Jalen’s home, the police officer knelt down and laid his hand on him. This was the viral video posted on the Team Jalen Facebook page. When the officer cried in prayer to God for Jalen’s healing, their family members can also be heard sobbing in the video.

Knowing that Jalen’s favorite dog is a German Shepherd, the officers also brought gifts of t-shirts and stuffed animals, all bearing German Shepherd dog images and designs. The 9-year-old now has a collection of German Shepherds which has been dubbed “Jalen’s guard dogs.” All were donated to the young boy.

This very emotional scene, showing people in real life demonstrating their zeal for God, during this unfavorable circumstance in a person’s life is such a blessing to witness. These police officers from Georgia are truly serving and protecting lives. What they did is just remarkable. To God be the glory for their lives! We need more people like them in this world.

Police Officers Offer A Powerful Prayer For Boy With Brain Tumor

Jalen Manns is a strong 9-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in May. According to his mother, Hannah Manns, the tumor has been causing psychological and sensory issues for Jalen for some time.

After he was diagnosed, his family started to build up the Team Jalen Facebook page to serve as a support system for him. Galen has received an enormous amount of support from his family, friends and the Facebook community.

The Houston Home Journal noticed his heart melting story and they wrote an article about him. The Warner Robins Police Department saw the articles and with their compassionate heart, they reached out to Jalen. One of the officers offered a powerful prayer of healing that left his mother in tears.

Several Police officers also escorted him to Navicent Health for his biopsy. They also gave Jalen gifts of a t-shirt and stuffed animal.

Jalen’s parents were so grateful with their acts of kindness. His mother Hannah said that Jalen’s sickness caused anxiety for him but the amazing amount of love and comfort has been emotionally overwhelming.

There is hope for humanity, how the officers served Jalen and his family proves that there is still goodness in this world. Sometimes, it starts with the simple act of boldly sharing God’s love to the people who need it.
