Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch Shares His Testimony From Drug Addict To Evangelist

Rock band Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch shares his testimony of how God transformed his life from drug addict to evangelist.

Brian Philip Welch, popularly known for his stage name “Head,” has lived a very dark life before he met Jesus Christ. He founded the metal rock band “Korn” and found fame and success in his career. However, despite experiencing all the “blessings,” he was living a dark life.

He was extremely addicted to meth and was depressed. He became a prisoner of his own mind, stuck in being either high or depressed. But the moment he met Jesus Christ, the cloud that seemed to be over him and the cage that encloses him disappeared.

“The chains broke and the prison opened up and I came out and I found my contentment, I found peace and that cloud couldn’t come after me anymore… Just knowing that He’s real, I knew that I could fight for my sobriety with Him and then walk with Him.”

Testimony

Brian experienced radical change, so radical that his mom was surprised by his changes. Jesus seemed to be too good to be true, but God showed how real He is to him.

“If you have told me all of this before I actually met Jesus, I would have said that’s too good to be true. You’re crazy, that’s a fairy tale I would have made fun of you, but Jesus, by His grace, He showed me that it’s real.”

While being interviewed by TBN, he encouraged everyone to surrender their hearts to God. That’s how he found his freedom, by surrendering to God.

“Pour your heart out to Him fully and be real to Him. And just ask Him to show you that He’s real.”

Tim Tebow is the New Host for the Competition Show ‘Million Dollar Mile’ and God Wins

Million Dollar Mile is saying their show has, “the most grueling obstacle course ever designed.” Tim Tebow, the host for the high stakes competition show, tweeted out a link to an article about the world class athletes, known as, “The Defenders,” who are defending the prize money.

Million Dollar Mile Host Tim Tebow Also Promoting New Movie

Tim Tebow, former college football champion and Heisman Trophy winner, has recently released a movie. Being one of the Executive Producers, “Run the Race,” is now expanding to 400 new theaters! While at baseball practice, Tebow said it was one of the Top 10 movies this last weekend.

Brian “Head” Welch of nu-metal band Korn attended the world premier of the Tebow production. In his interview, Brian said he was looking forward to Tebow’s movie because he heard, “it was real.” He added, “And Tebow, everyone loves Tebow.”

Movie watchers are saying, “Unforgettable message.” And, “Just took the whole family to see #RunTheRaceMovie and we all loved it! Great story. Well-made. Great acting.”

I’d encourage you to make plans to see ‘Run the Race‘ in a theater near you. And bring a friend that needs to hear the life-changing message!

Brian ‘Head’ Welch of Korn Shares a Revelation from God At Tim Tebow’s Movie Premier

Brian ‘Head’ Welch, guitarist and founding member for the nu-metal band Korn, attended Tim and Robby Tebow’s movie premier of ‘Run the Race.’ Before watching the movie, in an interview with Jeannie Law of Christian Post, he said, “This generation can smell a phony a mile away. We have got to be real and raw. And I am looking forward to this movie because I heard it is real…Tebow, everyone loves Tebow.”

Brian then mentioned his upcoming movie release which is set to be released on June 2. He said, “Me and my daughter’s movie ‘Loud, Crazy Love,’ it’s real. It’s raw. It’s a little edgy just because we want the people that don’t know Christ to see a real story from the messy beginnings to what it is now. Which is amazing.”

He also added, “We just got to step back out of the religious things and just think about who Jesus hung out with. The fisherman, the prostitute, all kinds of people. And I fit right in that little group. That’s who He goes after and saves. He loves everybody. We’re a story. But the thing is, He cleans us on the inside.”

Stating that God doesn’t mind anyone’s appearance and hearing that ‘Run the Race’ deals with identity, Head said, “The beautiful mystery of Christ in you. That’s our identity…I can look like this. You can look like your beautiful self. It’s about Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
