Trust Issues With Men
Cheryle McConaughey grew up without having a father. As a result, she had trust issues with men, which eventually ended her first marriage. Since then, she has associated every man as a liar and untrustworthy.

Later on, Cheryle met Rich at church and they tied the knot three months later. Serious issues began to surface as soon as they got married. The first conflict they struggled with as a couple was parenting issues, as Cheryle couldn’t trust her husband. She also became suspicious of him with his every move and accused Rick of pointless matters.
Every time the couple had a conflict, Cheryle would threaten Rich to leave him. And each time, Rich was always committed. Then a time came, he had enough and told Cheryle to just go. But she stayed despite their marriage barely hanging on.

Broken Marriage And A Message From God
The couple remained as a family, but they avoided confronting each other with their issues. Also, they hardly saw each other because of work and rarely talked with each other.
Cheryle prayed for her marriage, but she questioned God as years went by. Because she felt her marriage was “like hell on earth” despite her prayers.
Unbeknownst to Cheryle, God was beginning to change her heart by first dealing with her trust issues. While working to build trust towards a wild mustang, God spoke to her heart and surrendered to Him. Since then, her prayer began to redirect from changing her situation to changing her heart and perspective.
The couple went to a pastor’s marriage counseling following God’s revelation. Then Cheryle asked for Rich’s forgiveness for everything she did that broke their marriage. That’s when Rich also found light in what he thought was a hopeless case.
Soon, through God’s amazing grace, Cheryle and Rich’s marriage was redeemed.
