A man whose adopted brother murdered their mom ,couldn’t forgive the brother and became a crack addict until Jesus met him on that dark road.
Welcoming Adopted Siblings
Sean Clayton grew up in a loving Christian home. Then at 12 years old, his parents decided to adopt three children from Guatemala. They became part of Sean’s family and got along well. Until one day, while he was out working with his dad, they received a disturbing phone call from the police.
They heard the news that Sean’s older brother, Hugo, asked neighbors for help and that his mother was bleeding on the kitchen floor. Soon enough, the police uncovered the real events.
His Brother Murdered Their Mom
At around three in the afternoon, Hugo was playing Nintendo video games. His mom told him to go to school and ended up bringing the math book in. But underneath the book was a knife the 14-year-old hid. That’s when the tragic crime happened.
Sean’s adopted brother was sentenced to 11 years in prison. But for Sean, the punishment wasn’t enough. He couldn’t forgive him and decided to kill Hugo. He was ready to put his life on the line just to avenge his mother. Sean also became very angry at God because his mom loved people so much that she would die for them, but He allowed his brother to kill her.
As a result, Sean began doing self-destructive behaviors. He ran away from home and started fighting kids at 15 years old. He also began using drugs and was sent to military school. But eventually, he got kicked out for fighting, drinking, and smoking crack.
Sean ended up with five assault charges facing 36 years in prison. But, there, he began to reflect, pray, and read his Bible.
Then watch how God amazingly turned his life around!
