Bullied 6-Year-Old Was Sent At Hospital—Police Parades At Hospital To Comfort Him

A 6-year-old bullied by a neighbor kid ended up in hospital after throwing a tennis ball on fire on his face. Police officers then went out of their way to comfort the little guy.

Bullied 6-Year-Old 

The 6-year-old Dominick and his family moved to a new place a year ago. They were new to the neighborhood when an 8-year-old kid began to bully him. According to Inside Edition’s report, the bullying went on for months. And just two months ago, his parents revealed that the kid shoved their son to the wall.

Today, Dominick is in the hospital with his face covered with bandages because of what the bully kid did again. Apparently, he poured gasoline into a tennis ball and lit it. Then he threw it toward Dominick’s face resulting in second and third-degree burns.

Community And Police Comforts Little Guy

Following the incident, some people from the community showed him some love. Soon after, police officers, paramedics, and firefighters also went out of their way to comfort the little guy. They surprised him by rallying their vehicles and firetrucks outside his hospital room’s window. These unsung heroes wanted to encourage and lift up the little man by showing their genuine support.

The kindness of the police officers made Dominick so happy he wanted to be a policeman as well someday. Also, because of his own unfortunate experience, he wanted to bring justice to those who were bullied like him. The 6-year-old wanted “bullying to end.”

Although suffered a lot from the mishap of bullying, God has blessed Dominick right now as many people have helped them. A GoFundMe page was put up, and it has already raised over $350,000. The page was initiated so that Dominick’s family could move to a safer place where there are no more bullies.

Let’s pray that the 6-year-old would heal from all the trauma the violence caused him aside from total physical healing. Pray for his inner healing and mental health as well.

Bullied Girl With Down Syndrome Supported By Her Nation’s President

President of North Macedonia sparked international applause after going out of his way to personally encourage the bullied little girl with down syndrome.

Bullied Little Girl With Down Syndrome

The 11-year-old, Embla Ademi, suffered from bullying and discrimination in her school because of her condition. She has down syndrome, and the President of North Macedonia took notice after some parents purportedly complained about her presence in a classroom with their kids.

After hearing what happened, President Stevo Pendarovski visited the little girl and her family to listen to her story. He wanted to comfort the little girl and acknowledge her importance in society.

Walking Hand In Hand

According to WICD-TV, the president also personally escorted Embla to school on Feb.7. The captured photo revealed the two walking hand-in-hand in Gostivar City on the way to the school with her family.

The president said, “We are all equal in this society. I came to give my support and to raise awareness that inclusion is a basic principle.”

Further, President Stevo stresses that harming kids’ rights, especially those with disabilities, are unacceptable. He also stated that everyone should feel “equal and welcome” at school.

“It is our obligation, as a state. But also as individuals, and the key element in this common mission is empathy,” he said, Sky News reported.

President Stevo wanted to send a clear message to those watching how to treat those like Embla. We shouldn’t make them feel outcast. But instead, everyone should show them kindness and make them feel they belong. And he is hoping that what he did would have a lasting impact.

A bullied Arabic immigrant who runs to drugs to numb his pain becomes a pastor after having a powerful encounter with Jesus in a church conference.

The American Dream

Fady Ghobrial’s family pursued the American dream and moved to America when his dad got a job in Boston. They were excited to experience freedom, better opportunity, education, and a future. However, everything they dreamed of crumbled after coming to America a year later after the 9/11 terrorist attack.

At school, people began to bully Fady, acquainting him with terrorists. The teen boy even suffered from verbal and physical harassment. Meanwhile, the legalistic Christian faith also often made him feel the same way.

“The shame piece that was reinforced at home and at church, I need to be good enough for God to love me and accept me. And that depended purely on my works and my good performance,” he recounted.

Immigrant Becomes Atheist

Until one day, Fady concluded that God was angry at him and didn’t like him. Then in high school, he gained friends who influenced him to smoking pot, drinking alcohol, and sleeping around. The young immigrant also started buying into the beliefs of some of his friends who were atheists. Hence, he believed he could live his life free of guilt and shame because God doesn’t exist. But instead of finding freedom, he found himself all the more in a spiraling downward path. Fady went back to drugs to numb his feeling of futility and purposelessness.

Encountering Jesus

One day, a family friend invited Fady’s family to visit their church. There, his family truly experienced the love of God that led to his parents and brother giving their lives to Jesus. Since then, their home has changed. But despite it, Fady continued drinking, smoking pot, and partying. Because he thought it would be impossible for him to be forgiven for all the horrible things he had done.

Then in summer during Fady’s freshmen year, the whole family brought him to a church conference. And there, God encountered him in such powerful way that he was never the same again.

WNBA champion Candace Wiggins shared how she leaned onto her faith after being bullied by other players in the league for being straight.

In 2016, WNBA player Candace Wiggins voluntarily retired from her career because of the hardships she faced. She had been bullied by other players in the league for being straight. A year later, she disclosed the truth during her controversial interview with The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The then 29-year-old athlete shared the truth about the bullies. She even shared the truth that WNBA has a culture in it where they encouraged women to look and act like the men in NBA.

“Me being heterosexual and straight, and being vocal in my identity as a straight woman was huge,” Candace told the publication. “I would say 98% of the women in the WNBA are gay women. It was a conformist type of place. There was a whole different set of rules they (the other players) could apply.”

Controversial interview

That interview sparked a huge issue. The professing Christian was attacked by “unimaginable anger.”

“It was an anger directed toward me that I have never imagined was possible. It was unimaginable anger that I had sparked,” she explained to The Christian Post in an interview a day after the 2021 NBA All-Star Game.

Candace is the daughter of the popular baseball player Alan Wiggins who died at the age of 32. She has played for four WBNA teams since she started her career in 2008. The 2008 Sixth Woman of the Year won her championship with the Minnesota Lynx in 2011.

The 34-year-old athlete emphasized during her interview with Christian publication that she meant no harm with her comments made four years ago.

Faith

Candace has also revealed that it was God who helped her get through her severe injury in July 2010 when she tore her Achilles tendon.

“I went to God because I wanted so badly to digest the entire Bible, but I felt the guilt … I felt very lost,” she said. “Immediately, God heard my sorrow and sadness, and the message I got, the inner voice I got, was just treat the Bible like you treat all the other texts in your life,” she said.

And from that moment on, she continued reading the Scripture and cultivating her relationship with God.

“That kind of brought me to a place where I thought I was living in my purpose. From that point on, I stayed reading the Word,” she added.
