Actress Candace Cameron Bure invites people on Instagram to read the Bible with her in a year, and many people are optimistic about it!
The Bible Recap
She is excited about using The Bible Recap guide in her daily Bible reading. That’s why Candace Cameron Bure invites people, especially her followers on Instagram, to read the Bible with her.
But what is The Bible Recap, you may ask?
The Bible Recap “offers tools that equip millions around the world to know and love God in a way that informs their entire lives.” It is specially designed to help people be at ease with their daily Bible reading.
Founded by Tara-Leigh Cobble, it is accessible in different platforms for the convenience of people who want to add Bible reading in their plan this year– through podcasts, devotional reading plans, and Bible reading guides.
Many people found it helpful and encouraging, including Candace. In her words, “It changed the way I read the Bible.”

With 5.6 million followers on Instagram, Candace couldn’t help but invite her followers to have their daily Bible reading this year.
“Who’s reading and listening to the @thebiblerecap with me? If you haven’t started, it’s never too late! You’ll be so encouraged to read the entire Bible chronologically with @taraleighcobble because she’s fun and helps us see who God is in the Bible — not just ourselves,” she wrote.
She started following the guide with her two friends, and said, “I highly encourage you to check out the Bible recap, because it’s changed the way I read the Bible. I love it. It is so encouraging and awesome,” she said.
“I’ll tell you, you need the Bible. I do it first thing, right when I wake up. Just start now. You’re never behind, and you’re right where God wants you to be,” she added.
Candace is known for being outspoken about her Christian faith. In fact, this isn’t the first time she posted about how important it is to read the Bible.
In one of her previous posts, she answered the frequently asked question, “How often should you read the Bible?”
Candace answered by quoting Hebrews 4:12: “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
“Every day. Not all day every day, but every day,” she added.
