This evangelist reveals the danger and the beauty of media and how the Lord is using it to reach the unreached.
Carrie Lloyd
Life coach Carrie Lloyd from Bethel Redding in California talks about media during a special episode for GOD TV’s 25-year Anniversary. The producer and writer shares how the digital world should look and how it can be used for preaching the Gospel.
Media has been a useful tool for everyone especially when the pandemic broke out. It has been the only source of information for the people after different countries were put into lockdown.
“Because we’re in such absolute crazy times of unprecedented unknowns,” Carries said. “And we have so much information now in the digital era, it’s very important that we ensure that media is intuited with excellence, it’s intuited with clarity and it is intuited with the truth.”
Danger of Media
We should be approaching people through media with respect, love, and warmth to reach out to them effectively. When all of these are disregarded, that is when the media becomes a dangerous place to be in.
“We’re not doing a great job… to communicate our heart, our passions without there being some division. We have this cancel-out culture where we’re just cutting people off and that’s the danger of media,” she emphasized.
Beauty of Media
However, there is still beauty in media when it is used for its original design which are communication, information, and education. The Lord is using media more than before to reach out to those who are hungry and are unreachable. We should treat it as a platform where the Gospel of the Lord can be shared.
“The beauty of media is that it will find ways. The Lord always finds the way to those who are hungry. So the media is a platform that is incredibly important to connect.”
