“There is no soul Jesus can’t save.” This rings true for Christian rapper Adrien Lamont, who confessed that he had sold his soul to Satan before encountering Jesus’ deliverance.

Growing up, Adrien’s grandma and mom led him to church on Sundays. But the rapper confessed that he did not develop a personal relationship with Christ.

Then, Adrien pursued his dream of being a music artist. His ambition to make it big in Hollywood led him to alcohol, smoking, and drugs. Moreover, Adrien revealed that his choice of clothing opened him to demonic interference.

“I was really involved in satanic imagery and satanic clothing,” he said. “It got to a point where all these things I was surrounding myself, started to affect my spirit. I realize now in hindsight that a lot of those garments and things I was wearing actually had demonic forces on them.”

A Deal With Satan

Soon, he met a music producer who would help him in the industry but at the exchange of his soul. “He asked me if I wanted to sell my soul to Satan,” Adrien recalled. Because he was very high and drunk, it did not bother him to say yes. After this, Adrien started experiencing darkness surrounding him.

At one point, while listening to his music recording on the computer, Adrien recalled that his gadget suddenly “glitched.” Then, a video testimony of another rapper appeared on the screen. He was telling about how he got delivered from demons and the evil in his life.

Adrien knew what it meant. He realized the sudden site change on his computer was for him to leave his lifestyle. And so, he did.

He returned to his mom and began going back to church. However, his “yes” to the devil only opened his connection with him. Adrien started hearing demonic voices.

His mom, who had no experience with demonic activity, took Adrien to the hospital to get treated for his “hearing voices.” Doctors diagnosed him with psychosis and schizophrenia.

The rapper was consistent with his church services and finding relief for six months. But the voices in his head only kept oppressing him.

Frustrated and tired, Adrien contemplated committing suicide.

Knowing Jesus

As he was thinking about his end on the street, an Australian guy approached him and told him about God’s heart for him. “I just felt God’s heart for you, and he told me to come over here and talk to you,” he told the rapper.

He explained that he was attending a Bible conference with Todd White and that the evangelist encouraged the attendees to go out onto the streets and witness Jesus. So, Adrien went with the guy and joined the said conference.

But, what he noticed while entering the venue was that many of the attendees were white. He only joined a predominantly black church. Adrien was hesitant.

And yet, among the hundreds of white people, only one black lady stood out. She approached him and gave him a prophetic word. She said, “God sees what you’ve been doing and how you’ve been chasing after him, and he’s so proud of you. He loves you, and all the people that have done you wrong and called you crazy are gonna see what God is doing in your life in the direction that he’s taking you and they’re all gonna apologize.”

It spoke right through to his heart.

And during the conference, he met loving brothers and sisters in Christ who prayed for him. And almost entirely, he was delivered from the demons and the oppression.

He shifted his music to Christian hip-hop and married the featured singer in one of his songs. And strange enough, his marriage completed his deliverance.

Today, Christian rapper Adrien continues to witness Jesus through his music and life. “You can’t stop what God is doing in my life,” he said.
