In an episode of “The Brueniverse Podcast,” stand-up comedian Jim opened up about his wife’s health condition. His wife, Dee, has been diagnosed with cancer, sadly, it is now in its late stages.
“The doctors said, ‘There’s] nothing we can do. [Cancer] is everywhere,” Jim said.
He also shared how his friend asked him if he was “mad at God” and if his faith has been affected by the ordeal they are facing.
“To be dead honest with you, not at all,” he responded. “If anything, I’m not mad at what I will not have. I’m not mad at what’s being taken away. I’m not mad about what I’m not going to have anymore, but I am so … blessed for what I had, and what I still have.”
Wife Dee
Jim then continued to share how he shared memorable moments with Dee. He’ll always be grateful for having her in his life.
“Do you know how many people never had the relationship I did and still have? Do you know how many incredible, lifesaving, emotional, deep-saving moments I’ve had with my wife, Dee?”
The father of three will be viewing this heartbreaking event as an opportunity to praise God for the blessings he received.
“You can either turn your back and be mad or you can look at it as, ‘Wow. I didn’t realize how beautiful life is and was when it’s right in front of you,'” he added.
The entertainment star emphasized that he will never be mad at God, no matter what the circumstance is.
“Start looking at the beauty right in front of you with yourself. … I’ll never be mad at God. I cannot believe the beauty that surrounds me. I can’t believe the beauty that is given to me.”
