DeSean Jackson, wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, an American football team, hosted a youth camp and spent the weekend giving out food and clothing to those less fortunate.
In an interview with John Clark, NBC Sports reporter, DeSean opened up that he feels very blessed and fortunate to be back in Philadelphia, serving the community. This past weekend, DeSean spent his own time and money pouring into the people of Philly.

“I feel it’s my responsibility to give back…This is about helping the community and inspiring our youth to strive for greatness.” DeSean continued.
Bleachers Reports Tweeted a video where DeSean is seen giving out meals and clothing to the homeless – DeSean actually uses his own time and resources to see this happen. An act of generosity that is far too rare.

A part of valuing what you have is sharing it with others. DeSean does this so beautifully by sharing his fortune and spreading hope to those around him.
Everything that God gives us is not just ours to consume but it’s an opportunity to share with the world around us. Generosity is a Godly quality and we can all learn from DeSean and his generous heart that was poured out in Philidelphia this weekend.
