A KFC employee is now being hailed as a hero after he helped to save a kidnapping victim who left a secret note at the restaurant begging for help.
KFC Employee
In Tennessee, Diego Glay was arrested on May 15 for kidnapping and evading arrest. It was all thanks to a quick-thinking KFC employee who assisted the authorities after he read the secret note the victim left in the restaurant.
While at the restaurant with her alleged kidnapper, she was able to beg for help through a secret note. After the suspect and the victim exited the building, the KFC worker immediately called the police to report the possible kidnapping.
According to the report, the authorities were given the note and the description of the suspect and the victim. Those were crucial for the quick rescue of the victim. When the police finally tracked them down, Diego refused their orders and ran away. After a very brief foot chase, he was arrested.

During the questioning, the victim revealed that she had been in a relationship with the suspect and that she has been held against her will. She also confessed that she was a victim of assaults and threats. Allegedly, Diego was abusive to her, and when she tried to leave, he would punch her in the face. She also told the authorities that Diego was armed with a handgun.
The suspect is now in custody on a $35,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 1. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed for her security.
