Country singer John Rich previewed the new song “Earth To God,” a song written as a prayer for the world’s recent crises.
World Crises
As we are faced with countless trials during 2020, more and more people are turning to God for help. People became more hungry for the presence of God. And just like many, American country singer John Rich is also holding on to God for healing and hope.
“Earth to God”
Recently, the 46-year-old artist shared his new song “Earth To God” on “Fox & Friends.” The song is a prayer for God’s love and healing for everyone.
“You know, man cannot fix mankind’s problems, whether you’re in right, left or middle, none of us know the right answers to and I’ve said this before and it’s a fact that even though it’s out of our control, it’s not out of God’s control. He has got control of it,” John said on Fox & Friends. “We’ve got to reach out to Him and talk to Him.”
Washington Prayer March 2020
On September 26, he performed the song at the Washington Prayer March 2020 with Franklin Graham.
“Samaritan’s Purse is an organization that I love what they do all around the planet,” he said. “I love Rev. Graham and his message and we linked up together and they invited me to come to sing tomorrow. I’m excited to be there and humbled and honored to sing the song there.”
The music video for the song features images from the coronavirus pandemic, looting, and riots in major cities. Every lyric of the song expresses his prayer to God.
“We need your light, we need your love, to heal the world you made and save us now in our darkest hour with your amazing grace,” John sings.
