Romans 8:28 (ESV) – “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Seasons Change
Seasons change and sometimes it’s a bumpy ride. Transition can be scary and feel so unknown at times. As Christians, it’s important to us as individuals that we never run weary of God’s will for our lives. The yearning of wanting to make every right decision, while living with the fear of making a huge mistake is huge and it’s real. What if I told you that you’re not powerful enough to ruin your life while God is by your side?
God Is Good
Transition is challenging because of the unknowns that follow closely in front of us. The possibilities are endless as we exit one season and enter into another. I think as Christians, we want God’s best for us and come up with a preconceived idea of what it should like. But, what if I told you that God’s best for you can still be God’s best for you and look completely different from what you thought it would look like. Often times, we avoid making certain decisions because it doesn’t fit the vision in our heads. We forget to ask God what He sees and thinks. You see, if we would just come to the realization that God’s will for us is pure and that He works all things together for our good, I think we’d be more confident in making decisions for ourselves.
God’s Way Is Best
With God by our side and leading us through His Holy Spirit, we can’t make a wrong decision. We can make decisions that look different, but that’s because our ways and our thoughts are not His! Like it says in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
Transitions can be challenging but God is working it out for your good. Trust Jesus today with your life. All that He is good and pure. He wants what’s best for you!
