A little girl has her mom, and now, over a million people, laughing over her innocence, claiming God’s name is Howard.
There have been numerous names in the Bible which God has introduced Himself: Abba, El Shaddai, Adonai, Yahweh. And this time, Howard may be on the list, too.
Where did the name Howard come from?
Kyrun Trigg shared the video where this little girl confidently tells her mom that God’s name is Howard. The reason behind it will surely make you think about it.
The mom was already laughing when she asked the little girl of God’s name. “Howard,” the little tot stated matter of factly. When asked to explain how she arrived with “Howard,” she calmly recited the “Lord’s Prayer.”
“Because..” she reasoned. “Our Father, who art in heaven. Howard be Thy name.”
To this, she had her mother in stitches. Although the video is only 20-seconds long, the joy and laughter it brings have reached over a million viewers.
This little girl has charmed many viewers leaving positive comments. “Howard be thy name. She is paying attention. Sweet girl is so precious,” said one commenter.
Another viewer related to the mother as she had a similar experience with their little boy. She said, “Do you remember when Jaxon said, ‘Hail Mary full of grapes”.
Pure hearts
Children are really precious with their pure hearts. That’s why Jesus has taught us to be like a child. Matthew 18:3 says, “Truly, I tell you. Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of God.”
This does not mean that we become childish. But rather, we can associate this with Paul’s teaching to Titus in chapter 1 verse 15, “To the pure, all things are pure.” Once we allow God to cleanse us and receive his purification, we begin to see things like a child does. We become more trusting, more expectant, and more loving to those that surround us.
