Christian pop duo For King & Country premiered their new song “Together” with Kirk Franklin and Tori Kelly virtually on Good Morning America.

On May 1, For King & Country premiered their new song “Together” remotely from Nashville. In collaboration with Tori Kelly and Kirk Franklin, each recorded in their home studios. For King & Country did the same.

Debut on Good Morning America

Despite the situation the world finds itself in, the Christian group comprised of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, were still able to debut their new song virtually on Good Morning America.

“We are very grateful for the opportunity to premiere our brand new song, ‘Together,’ on Good Morning America. It is such a humbling thought as Australian immigrants, that we are getting to perform on such an iconic American morning show,” the duo said in a statement. “Our hope is that with this performance, we can spread the message that if we are able to unite and support one another during this time — be a neighbor to someone, serve someone, reach out to someone — how might those acts of kindness change the scope of our futures together? We believe what unites us is ultimately so much stronger than that which divides us.”

The brothers posted on Instagram that it has been by far the most difficult song they have ever worked on.

“I remember the moment we walked off stage after playing our final show in Canada and as COVID-19 hit and shut down the west, We looked at each other and said ‘this is the song that we need to release for this time,’” they wrote on Instagram. “From that day to this it’s been a bumpy road for the whole world, as well as for this song. But we are so grateful that it has finally found its way from our hearts to your ears.”

This song reminds each one of us that we can get through challenging times together. That if we unite and work as one, this crisis that the whole is facing will soon be over. There is still hope amid the darkness!

Francis Marion University YGB choir visited the studio of Good Morning America and performed a wonderful worship song that truly inspired the people inside the room. The moment you hear them sing, you are amazed by how they passionately share their God-given talent in front of so many people. Hearing their songs of praise will lift-up your day. They brought so much joy and gladness into the room.

The team visited the GMA studio as audience members, but Robin Roberts, one of the anchors of the show invited them to sing up front. They did not miss the opportunity to glorify God and what they did was truly remarkable. It is very evident that these people loves Jesus and are very much willing to bring honor to His name. Seeing people like them glorifying God everywhere they go feels like Heaven.

Let’s pray for more Christians who will boldly proclaim the love of God in every area of their lives – children of God who are not afraid to glorify God in public. The world needs Jesus and it’s time for us to share His love to those around us, just like FMU Gospel Choir did.
