On the morning of March 8, pop star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey were having breakfast when the supermodel started having stroke-like symptoms. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors revealed that she had a small blood clot in her brain. Thankfully, her body passed it on its own and recovered from it after just a few hours.

The 25-years-old model posted an update on her social media this weekend thanking the medical staff who helped her. She also admitted that it was one of the scariest moments in her life.

“Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me,” she wrote.

Stephen Baldwin, Hailey’s father, thanked all those who prayed for her daughter’s recovery. The 55-year-old actor is praising the Lord that Hailey recovered from that scary moment.

“Been on my knees before my God as much as possible every day. He is my father… love Him so much. As always, He’s a good Father. Humbly, I will serve Him,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

He then asked everyone to continue praying for Justin Bieber who is currently on tour.

“Let’s keep praying for JB on tour so love, peace, and joy may touch this world. God bless you all!!!”

Stephen ended his post with a Scripture that encourages everyone that all things will work for good.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28

Popstar Justin Bieber recently visited the California State Prison to share the message of faith and hope to the prisoners.

The well-known artist Justin Bieber has always been open about his Christian faith since he followed Christ years ago. He has been using his platform in the entertainment industry to share the message of the Gospel to everyone. Recently, he was spotted preaching the message of faith to prisoners.

Together with an unidentified pastor, Justin was seen visiting the California State Prison in Lancaster, Los Angeles on Tuesday. The event happened only a few days after Justin and his wife, Hailey’s, weekend trip to Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean.

TMZ has captured the arrival of the 27-year-old artist on the facility riding his tour bus. The photo sparked questions as to what was his business in the prison. A spokesperson for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has clarified the singer’s purpose for his visit, which is to preach the Gospel.

“The Warden of the institution approved a very brief visit by Mr. Bieber and his pastor to support faith-based programs at California State Prison, Los Angeles County,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

The state prison shelters over 3,000 inmates in both minimum and maximum security areas. CDCR assured that proper health protocols were followed during Justin’s visit.

“CDCR ensured every COVID-related precaution was taken prior to and during the visit,” the spokesperson added.

Justin and his wife are members of the Churchome, led by Pastor Judah and Chelsea Smith. In a previous statement, the professing Christian artist emphasized that a Church is not a building, it is God’s people.

“Church is not a place. We are the church. We don’t need a building to connect with God. God is with us wherever we are,” he wrote. “The creator of the oceans and mountains also created you! You are a part of the plan, your life matters, He sees you!” Bieber added. “He’s been patient with you as you ran from Him awaiting your return! He’s not mad, He understands.”

“When He sees us, He’s not this God that a lot of people think, that like judgmental,” Justin said in an interview. “He’s a God that accepts us for who we are, and loves us through our pain and through our dirt.”

On August 5, the 26-year-old singer reminisced on Instagram about the moment that he and his wife Hailey Bieber were baptized. He posted photos of them in the water with their pastor. The photo shows the couple holding hands as they submerge themselves in the water.

“The moment @haileybieber my wife and I got baptized together,” he wrote in his Instagram post.

According to the award-winning artist, the day they were baptized was one of the most special moments in his life. Justin shared the photos from their baptism to his over 143 million followers on Instagram. The post now has over 3.8 million likes.

“This was one of the most special moments of my life. Confessing our love and trust in Jesus publicly with our friends and family,” he continued.

The couple has been speaking about who Jesus is on their social media accounts. For example, during the state lockdown because of the pandemic, the Biebers used their Instagram to host online Sunday services with their New York Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz.

The professed Christian couple recently launched a web series on Facebook Watch titled “The Biebers” where they showed their lives during the quarantine. In each episode, they film themselves doing something together and they ask each other questions so that their fans can get to know them more.

Faith amid pandemic

The fourth episode, which was released this week, showed the couple playing Jenga while they ask questions about their quarantine experience. Pop artist Justin asked Hailey what kept her anchored during the pandemic and her response is remarkable.

“What is your anchor that keeps you pushing, obviously like our faith? You and I have the same belief system. We believe in Jesus and His forgiveness and salvation, just that whole thing,” Justin said. “Do you think that that’s having your anchor in your spirit? Knowing that regardless of what’s going on in the world you kind of have that security?”

“Totally,” Hailey replied. “Not only knowing that we have the peace of Jesus and we can lean on Him during this time and we can read the Bible, we can do so many things. We also have our church community that has been constant through this whole thing.”

The couple attends Churchome with Pastor Judah Smith, who has was an instrument in Justin rekindling his relationship with God. Pastor Judah was also the one who officiated the couple’s wedding ceremony. During the quarantine, they are attending the virtual church service of Churchome.

“Being able to, every Wednesday, we watched our church services and there’s still that real sense of community even in isolation. I think that’s honestly helped a lot and staying in touch with the people that we love and care about and who keep us encouraged and pray for us.” Hailey added. “I’m actually so surprised with the different ways we’ve been able to keep up with our community and connect.”

Justin and Hailey shot the first episode in their home in Toronto, Canada. They invited viewers on a boat ride in a lake beside their home where they’re quarantining. The newlyweds exchanged questions about keeping marriage healthy as they float in water.

Justin first threw the question, “What is the most rewarding thing about being married?”

“The most rewarding thing about being married definitely is, just the companionship,” Hailey answered. “We’ve had to work hard on our relationship and I think that pays off in a way where you just become so connected to each other and so close and so solid with each other,” she continued. “Obviously, you’re my best friend. So, I think that’s the biggest payoff. That you have a best friend that you just get to do everything with.”

Hailey then asked her husband to share the best and hardest thing about being married.

“The security marriage gives you is make a covenant before God to love that person for better or worse, in sickness and in health, which is something that you’ve done amazingly for me,” Justin said.

The pop artist then shared some the things he had to work on – forgiveness, jealousy and insecurity – to be able to spend his life with Hailey. “That was really hard to work through those things,” he said. “But I think when you choose to work through those things, I feel like now that I’ve worked through that stuff, you and I are closer than ever.”

Furthermore, the Biebers reflected on God’s grace and forgiveness that empowers them to move forward. “We both had made mistakes and I think when we understand how much God’s forgiven us and given us grace, it gives us the ability to give each other grace,” Justin shared.

Hailey Bieber Sparks Conversation Mentioning God

Apparently, Hailey kept mentioning God in her interview with Miley. She quickly turned their conversation about having a relationship with God.

“I think there’s a difference between being raised in the church and then being an adult and having your own relationship with God. Having your own relationship with Jesus and spirituality,” Hailey, who is super vocal about her faith told Miley. “Because what my relationship was with faith getting raised that way is completely different than it is for me in my own journey as an adult.”

Further, she shared about the importance of having a community or group where there is no judgment, but simply acceptance and love. Of which Hailey said she found in God, her church family, and her faith.

Miley then opened up, “I was also brought up in the church in Tennessee at a time in the ’90s. So it was a less accepting time with all that.”

And the pop star shared why she left the church at a young age. She recalled, “I had some gay friends in school. That is the reason why I left my church is that they weren’t being accepted. They were being sent to conversion therapies. And I had a really hard time with that and I had a hard time with me finding my sexuality too.”

Hailey Testifies Her Journey With God

Also, during the interview, Hailey shared her own bad experiences in the church as a child. And went on testifying that “it wasn’t until she developed her own relationship with God apart from her parents that her relationship with God was really solidified.”

She explained, “I was raised going to church as a believer. And that was a really important part of my life. And I kind of fell off that path a little bit. Because I think I had a hard time finding a relationship with God that worked for me as an adult.”

Miley Cyrus Says She Will Explore On God Again

Because of Hailey’s testimony, Miley expressed how she was touched by the supermodel’s journey with God. And she said she would do the same.

“I think what I just took away from you is I’m allowed to decide what my relationship is with spirituality as an adult… that doesn’t have to be aligned with the way it was when I was brought up,” Miley responded.

She further added, “So I think now you telling me that I’m allowed to redesign my relationship with God as an adult. And make it how it feels most accepting to me would make me feel so less turned off by spirituality.”

Open To Everyone But Adhering To God’s Word

Hailey and Justin Bieber regularly attend church at Churchome led by Pastor Judah Smith. But when in New York, they attend Hillsong church.

Both churches are open to “everyone” regardless of different beliefs, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. However, they made it clear that the church still adheres to what is written in the Bible.

Hillsong’s website wrote, “That said, we still love them [LGBT] and acknowledge that they – like all of us – are on a journey, and our role as a church is to assist them on this journey with grace and compassion.”

After Miley and Hailey’s deep conversation about God, they continued on their make-up routine.

“Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness! Justin wrote in the caption. “Thank you Jesus that when I was lost you found me, thank you that you brought be from death to life!”

Moreover, he referenced his salvation to the Gospel, “Thank you that once I was blind but now I see! Thank you for giving your life up on the cross so that I could have ETERNAL LIFE! TRUE LIFE on earth and life ABUNDANTLY!”

He then ended the post telling Jesus, “Thank you for the promises you have for me! Thank you that I am protected from the hidden traps of my enemy!! I am honored to serve you all the days of my life!”

Changes

According to Faithwire, many of the songs in Justin’s new album reference the singer’s Christian faith. Furthermore, the title track “Changes” ends with a spoken word: “People change, circumstances change, but God always stays the same.”

The 25-year-old also opened up about the huge role his new found faith played in overcoming serious addictions.

“I decided to stop [drugs] because I felt like I was dying, my security were coming into the room at night to check my pulse. People don’t know how serious it got; it was legit crazy scary,” he said YouTube’s documentary series, “Seasons.”

“I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day.”

He felt desperate and alone until one day, everything changed.

“I basically said to myself, ‘God, if you’re real, you get me through this season of stopping these pills and stuff and if you do, I’ll do the rest of the work,’” he told God.

“I’ve abused my body in the past and now I’m just in the recovery process trying to make sure I’m taking care of my body and taking care of the vessel that God’s given me… there’s so many people that have gifts, and an opportunity to make a change, and they end up either losing it or using their gifts for selfish reasons.”

And since then, after renewing his relationship with Christ, Justin has used his social media platforms as an outlet for praising God.

In one of his posts he thanked the Lord for “leading the way.”

He wrote, “Thank you for showing me compassion, giving me the grace to grow and loving me through everything!! No matter what happens in life I know you are always good and your love for me never changes no matter what I do!! You loved me before I did anything to earn or deserve it and for that I say THANK YOU JESUS!”

What’s more is that the tracks inside the new album “Changes” were mostly written about his wife, Hailey.

“The thought of being with my wife forever gives me chills,” Justin told journalists at an album listening party in London. “This album is obviously dedicated to her and my love towards her.”

Also, earlier this month, Hailey told Elle that their faith in God is what keeps them strong as a couple.

“Being able to share that with each other—to have that bond of faith and spirituality—is so [critical] for us. It’s the most important part of our relationship, following Jesus together, being a part of the church community together. It’s everything,” she explained.

Supermodel Hailey Bieber shared about her faith in the Elle’s 2020 March issue. She discussed how her faith in Jesus greatly influenced her marriage to pop star Justin Bieber.

Hailey and Justin first met when they were just kids. Stephen Baldwin, Hailey’s father, introduced the two. The model was 19 when they first began dating. However, during those times, she revealed to Elle that they were “going in very different directions.”

Later on, both the stars reconnected when they met again at a church conference.

“We ended up being at this church conference together in Miami, and it was the first time we’d seen each other in a while. I remember we were hanging out and I was like, ‘Listen, I’m really, really happy for us to be friends again. I want us to always be cool and be friends.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, here’s the thing: We’re not going to be friends.’ And I was like, ‘Oh. Is that so?’ ” she recounted.

When Justin and Hailey met at the conference, they were already changed people. Both of them now had a genuine relationship with God. She said it was what solidified their reunion.

How Hailey Bieber Rekindled Her Relationship With God

In the interview, the star also shared how she grew up in a non-denominational church near Nyack, NY. But she never really understood her parents’ faith until she moved to New York City.

“As I got older, it got harder to follow church and the Bible because it felt very adult. I don’t want to sound wrong, but it was boring. I didn’t care about it anymore, until I found a church I felt was geared toward young people,” Hailey Bieber explained. “And for me, that was the Hillsong Church in New York City.”

Hailey found a church family in Hillsong New York where she felt she belonged and understood.

“It started to feel like my own little community of people who were also young and following God and just immersed in a church community,” she explained.

“Then I developed my own relationship to church and my own relationship with God, separate from being raised that way by my parents. That’s been a cool journey for me.”

Hailey’s Aunt On The Bieber Couple

Chynna Phillips, Hailey’s aunt, also recently commended the Bieber couple for their faith. She is also a devoted follower of Christ who hosts Bible studies in Los Angeles.

“They are awesome examples of what it is to be a Christian and I feel like they’re going to help pave the way for other young people to see it in a new light and see that Christianity is cool,” she told Page Six regarding Hailey and Justin.

Moreover, Justin revealed to Vogue magazine in 2019 how they waited to have sex until marriage. The pop star said he vowed to God to chasten himself after battling sex addiction.

Today, Justin and Hailey regularly see a couples counselor and look to their pastors and church community to help them build a solid foundation. They are fully committed to the covenant of Christian marriage and the work it takes to sustain love. This is truly wisdom. We pray the Lord blesses this couple!

Justin Bieber wrote a heartfelt message to his Instagram followers in the hope of encouraging people during September’s Suicide Prevention Month. He opens up about his battles with depression, anxiety, and the drugs he abused. There’s so much pain in his words and story, yet he has found a hope to cling to.

Justin Bieber has been on a faith journey these past few years that he’s invited his fans into. The pop star is not shy about his story of a fame fueled cliff dive into hedonism and the people of God who pulled him up. Justin’s own testimony is very much a prophetic word come to fruition. When his mother, Pattie Mallete, was pregnant her pastors prophesied that she would birth revival and she dedicated Justin to the Lord.

Justin’s own revival has given way to loving his fans and followers in way that could only come from the Love of God. He started to minister and evangelize from whatever platform he could.

“Do you feel you have exhausted all options? Do you feel helpless? Do you feel like you’re never good enough? What if I told you that there’s a god that’s willing to meet you wherever you’re at? What if I told you He could take away your pain, shame, guilt, and fears. #Jesus.”

His post to followers on September 4th was heartbreakingly vulnerable and darkness-shattering powerful all at once. The message: Hope is found in God’s unrelenting pursuit of our hearts.
