So when my first child was born, it’s our gal, she’s about 11 right now, we had had some miscarriages, before we had her. And even when I was pregnant with her, there was a day that came and I started cramping really bad, like really bad, and then just bleeding, just a ton. And I knew what that meant. I’d been through it before. And, the first person I called was my dad. He’s a man of faith. He has been my entire life. And I remember just sitting on the phone with him for, I can’t even remember, it’s kind of a blur, but it was probably a couple hours and he just prayed. He spoke, just healing over the baby that was in my womb. And he just, he believed with me. And that was at a point in my life where I believed in God, but I didn’t believe in healing. I mean, I believed it was kind of like, healing happened back when Jesus was around, and maybe He could still do it, but it wasn’t something I believed in, and I stood on His promises of His Word. But, I just received my dad’s prayer over me and I was just bawling. And I remember, I was like, okay, “This is it, mom, another one, another miscarriage.” And she’s like, “Well, you should go to the doctor just to get checked out, to just make sure everything, you know, is passed.” And so, I reluctantly went.
So I went and I remember sitting on the table and the OB comes in and she’s like, “Well, let’s check.” I explain what happened. And she puts the little ultrasound thing on my stomach. And I remember, as soon as she put it on there, I heard Alexandra’s heartbeat, and it was just so fast and so strong, and I just started bawling. I just was like what I thought it was for sure, because it was the most cramping, the most blood I’ve ever experienced, and it was just miraculous.
And so I just want to encourage anyone who’s listening to this story right now, who maybe you have someone in your life that doesn’t maybe believe in healing, that doesn’t have the faith that you have. Like my dad had the faith. I didn’t have the faith, but I truly believe that he spoke life and protection and healing over my daughter during those couple of hours that we were on the phone. So don’t doubt or discount your faith when you go to pray for someone that maybe doesn’t believe. I just want to encourage you to walk in power, walk in His promises.
So I just want to speak that boldness over you today. I just pray in Jesus’ Name, anyone watching this who needs to be encouraged, and maybe you’re praying for someone who doesn’t know the Lord, a daughter, a son, or someone who needs to be healed, but doesn’t even believe in Jesus. You can be that conduit of faith and of healing, of deliverance for that person. So I speak boldness over you today in the Name of Jesus. Your prayers have power.
