Worship in Jerusalem persists despite protestors’ blocking the door to the venue.
Worship Concert In Jerusalem Faces Persecution
Many in Jerusalem came to worship Yeshua at a worship event two months ago. Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries shared about it on Instagram. However, an unexpected resistance unfolded that day, protesting against the worship gathering. In the recorded video posted by FIRM, some ultra-orthodox protestors tried to block the door to the worship venue. They actively trying to stop people from going inside.
“Some are even yelling “Jesus is dead” in both English and Hebrew,” FIRM reported.
But despite the tension happening outside the venue, it never stopped the believers of Yeshua from worshiping Him.
“Meanwhile, inside hundreds of Jewish and Gentile believes lift up the name of Yeshua together,” FIRM added. “He is worthy to be praised no matter what the cost or opposition!”
Instead, the followers of Yeshua responded in a Christ-like manner and kept worshiping the Lord. And for that reason, their bold faith has greatly inspired the body of Christ in Jerusalem.
“We remember Yeshua’s example towards those who hated him unto death and ask for His compassion,” the ministry explained, referring to Luke 23:34,“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
Furthermore, they added that what had happened wasn’t a surprise because it was written in Scripture. In Matthew 10:22, Jesus warned about the persecution His followers would face. He said, “You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.“
With this news, let’s keep the believers of Yeshua in Jerusalem in our prayers.
