Man Possessed By Demons Delivered In Jesus’ Name

A man whose soul was dedicated to evil spirits was tormented for many years until he was delivered in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Man Possessed By Demonic Spirits

A Christian ministry called “Deliverance Down Under” recently featured a story of a young man haunted by demonic spirits. Apparently, someone in his family went to a witch doctor and gave his name to offer him to a spirit. Since the day that happened, the evil spirit claimed to have ownership over him.

The young man struggled to get free even after he became a Christian. He described it as a “stubborn” spirit because it wouldn’t leave him.

“I was like shaking, I was growling a lot, hissing like a serpent,” he recounted.

Most often, the demonic spirits would fight and claim they owned the young boy. The demonic spirit spoke saying, “I’ve been with him all his life, and he didn’t know it. I caused his divorce, I made everyone bully him, I made him hate himself.”

Delivered In Jesus’ Name

When the young man heard truth, he regretted the wasted years the enemy had taken from him. But when he surrendered to Jesus, he was set free and t he demonic spirits left him.

“I thought it was just me and it was the people who just didn’t like me,” he said. “But Jesus broke it.”

“Being a Christian from 18 to 29 did not stop them from having legal rights to operate in my life,” he added. “I had to actually go before someone to deliver me and set me free. That’s why I love deliverance down under because that’s what you do.”

“And I honestly think more of the church needs to embrace the deliverance ministry.”

We Have Something That The Devil Doesn’t

We have something in us that the devil doesn’t, and that is an authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Power and authority

Joyce Meyer encourages everyone that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. She started her message by emphasizing that there’s something we have that the devil doesn’t.

“The devil has power but we have power and authority, there’s a difference,” Joyce said. “He’s got power, but we’ve got something he doesn’t, we have authority in the name of Jesus. The only authority that He really has in our life is what we give him through unbelief. As long as we believe the Word of God, no matter what we see, no matter what we think, no matter what we feel, God is working in our lives. And we have already won the battle.”

We have something that the devil doesn’t

No matter what circumstances we may be facing, we are assured that we already have won the battle through Christ. We can do all things through Christ! And we have power and authority through Christ!

“I can do whatever I need to do through Christ who is my strength… I can do whatever God wants me to do through Christ who is my strength,” she added.

However the enemy tries to make us stumble, we are victorious because nothing can be against us. The Christ who lives in us is the same Christ who overcame death and evil through the cross! So do not be afraid of what the future holds, but be confident in His power.

“It’s amazing how much fear disappears in your life the more experience you get with God… The older you get, the more experience you have with God, the more you realize that believing comes first. And all the feelings and everything else come after the believing.”

Junior-sized Holy Spirit

The co-founder of General International reminds everyone that we should be exercising the authority given to us. If you feel like you have less power than any other Christian, it’s because you have missed the opportunity to exercise that power. There is no junior-sized Holy Spirit, we all have received the same power.

“There is so much more,” she said. “We just use about a tiny bit of the authority, we don’t exercise our authority. Faith is like a muscle, you have to use it.”

Power of the Holy Spirit

Cindy referenced Acts 1:8 to explain that we have received the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel. The power that we have received is to be used for the glory of God. All the anointing, the power, authority that has been given to us by Jesus Christ is to give Him the glory.

“You shall receive explosive, dynamite power through the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,” Cindy emphasized. “So we have been given this name, we have been given authority, we’ve been given the anointing through that name to reach to the ends of the earth.”

Exercise the authority

And by that power bestowed upon us, every person that we meet knows that He is God. The power that is in us is the same power that will transform people’s lives.

“We have a lot of anointing in the name of Jesus. Every knee shall bow, every situation shall bow, we have been given authority through that name.”

Exercise the authority that has been given to you by the name of Jesus Christ. Let everyone see how powerful our God is.

“Everywhere you go, there should be miracles, everywhere you go, something supernatural should happen… Just get up and manifest something supernatural, just go out and find somebody that needs Jesus or supernatural experience.”

Woman Possessed With Evil Spirits Set Free After Praying In Jesus’ Name

A woman from Pakistan who was possessed with seven evil spirits gains freedom after being prayed for by a Christian in Jesus’ Name.

On Saturday, the founder and president of Global Mission Awareness, Pastor Leif Hetland shared a powerful testimony. He shared that the testimony came from their “partners in Pakistan.”

Woman Possessed With 7 Evil Spirits

Apparently, the woman was demon-possessed. And to make things worse, seven evil spirits were inflicting her. Her parents took her to different witch doctors each time she was attacked. They went to them for help because they didn’t believe in Jesus. However, her condition only got worse. Also, she said she “used to beat the witches and my family members.”

Until one day, a man came to their home and recommended to call a Christian TV station to ask for help.

According to the TV station’s YouTube description, they are “committed to producing and providing quality programs that will reach our viewers, refresh their lives and renew their hearts.” Moreover, they “believe in making pure spiritual programs and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ” through broadcasting different Bible based inspirational programs.

Since even witch doctors couldn’t help them, the family decided to call the Christian TV station instead. But while the mother was calling the station, the demon-possessed woman took the mobile phone from her and “threw it and broke it.”

For that reason, the man who recommended to call had no choice but to call his friend.

“He rebuked all of the evil spirits and they all left me,” the woman is now free from evil spirits testified. Then she added, “I felt very peaceful and he told me that Jesus set me free.”

Since then, she has become a follower of Jesus. And because of this great miracle, other six members of her family accepted Jesus as well. The whole family became a Christian!

Praise God for this powerful testimony!

Overcome Struggles Through Jesus’ Blood

Many people struggle in their minds to overcome weaknesses and obsessions. These conflicts sometimes appear to be personal but they are really demonic infestations. Sexual lusts and attractions are a major area of conflict, especially for men. When these conflicts are personalized it becomes a struggle to change. This leads to internal conflicts and guilt and shame follow. And we become victims of our own conflicts.

Temptation

Temptations are real but this is not sin. To sin is to give in to the temptation. The devil works through our mind to confuse us and to blame us for our unwanted desires. Once he has a foothold he sends his demons to occupy that place in our soul. This is a demonic infestation. No amount of counseling can get the demon out. It is only deliverance that can expel the demons out. Once the demon is expelled then it is easier to fight the temptation. The blood of Jesus is able to expel any demonic infestation. Apply His blood to the areas of your life that you struggle in.

Overcome With Jesus

Jesus overcame the devil with His word. He quoted the Word, as the Word has power from heaven. Heavenly power can expel and resist every word or thought sent against you. Demonic infestation is a major problem for many, especially Christians. This is the way the devil tears down a person and makes them a victim. But Jesus came to make us victors, not victims. His power is available to all who will call on His Name. They overcame him through the word of their testimony and the blood. What you confess will be a weapon that will destroy the works of the enemy. Claim the power of the wonder-working blood of Jesus. His living blood has the power to overcome every disease and attack like no other. Finally, be set free in Jesus’ Name.
