Israelis Testify About Receiving Jesus As Messiah Through Digital Media

ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry shared how Israelis testify about knowing Jesus as the Messiah through online teaching videos and testimonies.

ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry

According to the official website, ONE FOR ISRAEL began as a Bible college in 1990 and has now grown into a multi-faceted ministry. Its goal is to reach “Israelis with the Good News of Yeshua, training and equipping the Body of Messiah in Israel, and blessing our community with Yeshua’s love.”

Over the years, the ministry has received many testimonies from Israelis who accepted Jesus, or Yeshua, as Messiah.

Recently, four Israelis testified about knowing Jesus as the Messiah through the ministry’s faithful efforts.

A man sent his testimony and said, “Yeshua is the Son of God! Through your videos, I finally saw who He truly is, unlike what I hear from those around me. To this day, they reject Him, curse His name, and don’t even bother to look for themselves or ask questions. But you have shown me the truth.”

Additionally, he said that his heart was captured by the ministry’s videos that uphold a higher moral standard. “And with the way you treat those who persecute you,” he added.

Another testimony came from a woman who received the gospel for the very first time through a Facebook post!

“Two years ago, I came across your Facebook page, and I received the gospel for the first time. It hasn’t been an easy journey. A lot of ups and downs. But today I’m about to be baptized, and I’m overjoyed to have accepted Yeshua as my Savior. I wanted to say thank you for all of the work that you’re doing. And I’m praying that God will use you to bring the message of salvation to many more,” she said.

The third testimony came from a lawyer who was seeking the truth for a very long time but only found “dead religion.”

“My journey has been a long one. I went through many hardships and was searching for meaning. And I didn’t know why my soul was in a state of agony and emptiness. I couldn’t find any answers I was looking for in just religion. When I began reading the Talmud and rabbinic texts, I was sick with the amount of nonsense and the inaccuracies I found,” he said.

Then, unexpectedly, he came across the videos of ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry, and everything started to make sense for him.

“As a lawyer, I checked the facts and searched for the truth. And the deeper I studied, the more I saw the difference between your faith and a dead religion. I would love to attend a congregation I can be part of and ask my many questions. Your videos have made things so much clearer for me,” he said.

Lastly, an 18-year-old began searching for God,

“I’m 18 years old and come from an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish background. Questions began to pop into my heart. I began to doubt the legitimacy of the oral law and if it was actually the word of God, as the rabbis say. This past year, I’ve been on a quest, searching for meaning. The first time I came across your videos, I couldn’t accept them because of the walls that have been built around my heart since childhood. Today, I’m convinced that Yeshua is the Messiah, as prophesied in the Torah. I know my faith will distance me from my family, but I’m remaining in the truth because nothing else matters,” he said.

Wealthy Jewish Businessman’s Depression Was Cured By Reading The New Testament

A wealthy Jewish businessman found himself falling into depression after chasing after things that he thought would give him satisfaction. But, in a fateful encounter, he discovered the words of Jesus in the New Testament. His depression started fading away as he dove more into The Word.

He valued his Jewish heritage. That is why, when Christians approached him about Jesus, he would argue and get angry with them.

But growing up, he struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. He shared, “There’s this overlying feeling of ‘I’m not loved like I want to be loved, and I can’t love others like I want to love others.” His feelings of emptiness led him to seek love and acceptance from people, and he found it in a community involved with drugs and alcohol. He was later joining his friends in their addictions.

When he was in college, he befriended the guy sitting beside him. Then, his newfound friend invited him to an activity which the Jew soon found out was a Bible Study. He then found himself sitting in a group, listening to Luke 15, the story of the prodigal son.

Power of the Word

Amazingly, after meditating on the message, he felt an overwhelming peace, love, and acceptance embrace him.

God’s love wrecked him. In response, he wanted to know God more. And he realized that the only way to know Him is through the person of Yeshua.

So, he started reading the New Testament. And every time he reads it, the same joy and love surround him. As an effect, it was removing his depression and suicidal tendencies.  He thought, “How could a book do this? How could just reading words do that to me?”

He realized that Jesus was real. “I owe my life to Jesus,” he said. “Because I know wholeheartedly that I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for what He did in me.”

A successful business doesn't make a meaningful life. Yeshua does!

Christian Wife Challenged Jewish Husband To Open His Eyes To The Bible

A Jewish husband met his Christian wife on an unlikely trip. She challenged him to discover the truth of his God personally and Yeshua, the promised Messiah of Israel.

Danny grew up in a loving and traditional Jewish family. His Jewish identity meant so much to him.

Years after graduating from college, he decided to pursue his lifelong passion – skiing. So, he moved to Aspen, Colorado, to enjoy his dream.

During his second season of skiing, he met a young Christian woman. He recalled her as the “most curious person I have ever met in my life.” As she talked to him about her faith, she also engaged him in discussions about his relationship with God and his faith. “Do you believe in God? What’s He like? Is He personal? Does He wanna have a relationship with you?” These are just some of the questions she asked him.

But the more she questioned him about his knowledge of God, the more Danny became upset. She came across to him as narrow-minded and dogmatic.

He shared, “I knew Jews don’t believe in Jesus. I knew that you can’t be Jewish and believe in Jesus. But the more she pressed me to explain why these things are true, the more I realized I didn’t know.”

Discovering the Truth

So, one day, he finally decided to read the Bible for himself.

He found out that the Christian woman’s God was the same as the Jews. And the more he read on, the more he was led to a personal relationship with God. And so he prayed, “God, if Jesus is the Messiah, and You want me to put my faith in Him, then I’m willing to do that; but only if it’s true.”

But, Danny hesitated because he might experience rejection from his family and friends. Then, God spoke to him, “Danny, that’s right, the choice is between following Me and following everything and everyone else.”

By the end of the summer, the woman came back to Aspen with a gift for Danny. She gave him a book titled, “What’s A Nice Jewish Boy Like You Doing in a Southern Baptist Church?” The book answered all of his questions and helped him finally pick up the Bible and read the New Testament for himself.

It broke his misconceptions about Jesus as he learned that Jesus was a Jewish man addressing the world’s issues in a Jewish way. It brought him to believe that Jesus was the Messiah.

Soon, he took courage and told his family about his newfound faith, which they didn’t take well. But, by the grace of God, Danny was able to lead his 86-year-old mother to Jesus.

Jewish Scientist Discovered Jesus In His Pursuit Of Faith And Science

In a recent video published by Jews for Jesus, a Jewish scientist shares his story of how he never imagined that he would come to believe Jesus. However, Dr. Moris Niknam is proving that Jesus is behind the visible and invisible things, and believing in Him makes Moris a complete Jew.

Dr. Moris Niknam grew up in a devout Jewish family in Iran. His innate curiosity led him to excel in science courses. And that same curiosity pushed him to learn about God and His existence.

When he was a teenager, he wanted to know about Jesus. But his mother stopped him, saying Jews are not supposed to talk about Jesus or even say His name.

Moris went on and entered college in the US. He earned his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in 1975 and got married to a Christian woman, which his family was not happy about it. But he had married the love of his life, and little did he know that it would also lead him to a deeper knowledge of his “Jewishness.”

Moris wanted to prove God’s existence through science. He wanted tangible data for God. So, he went to science, the study of explaining the natural world, to prove God.

Discovering Jesus

His journey to prove God led him to study the New Testament. Initially, he wanted to prove to his wife that Jesus was different from the God of the Jews. He believed, at the time, that Jesus was only a prophet.

The study took four years. It opened his eyes that Jesus was mentioned in the Old Testament many times.

“I realized that knowing Jesus, Yeshua, it’s adding more Jewishness to me,” Moris said. “The most Jewish thing that I can do is believing in Jesus.”

Proud Jewish Man Encounters Yeshua

A proud Jewish man spent his life dedicated to his heritage despite years of confusion about whether the God he believed in ever existed. Then, in one radical moment, he experienced the realness of God through the person of Yeshua.

Proud Jewish Man

Dr. Richard Nichol grew up in Jewish home. His parents and grandparents delighted over their identity as Jews. But, they did not have faith in their identity. They were, what they called, “functional atheists.” As a result, Richard’s family never mentioned or talked about God.

But, in Richard’s heart, he somehow knew that God is real.

As he grew up, he started to become passionate about music. He enrolled as a music major in college and learned to play the trombone. However, in one recital, he played horribly and was put on academic probation.

Richard determined to get better so he worked even harder and studied more.

Jew believing in Jesus

One day, as he was taking a day off, two guys approached him with a “religious survey.” He gave into his pride and answered the questions. He then realized that the two men were believers of Yeshua and the survey presented compelling questions.

But, what shocked Richard was that one of the men was Jewish and he had never heard of a Jewish person believing in Jesus.

So, he asked him questions about how he came to know Yeshua as the Messiah. Richard’s last question was, “If I believe in Jesus, will I give up on my trombone?” The man’s reply moved him, “I don’t know what God will take out of your life, but whatever He takes out, He will put something better.”

At that moment, Richard decided to give his life to Jesus and prayed. When he opened his eyes, he was flooded with a sense of forgiveness and peace that he never felt before. In just one moment, he felt reconciled to God.

Today, Richard thanks God for giving him back his love for music and for the overwhelming blessing he received and his family.

In one random moment, years of confusion became SALVATION!

Jewish Man Confessed, “God, I Want To Tell You I’m Sorry Because I Hated Your Name”

This Jewish man encountered God and His forgiveness through the love of Yeshua. Today, he passionately desires that his fellow Jewish people know the Truth and what it means to have forgiveness.

Ari Hauben grew up in a Reformed Jewish Congregation. He attended Hebrew school and joined Jewish camps, but he didn’t have a connection with the God of the Jews. Nevertheless, he valued his Jewish identity.

Being Jewish, he knew the importance of atonement. He understood the essence of getting sins covered. And upon realizing this, Ari was nervous. He identified himself as messy and dirty. “I had no way of being able to get back together with God or have atonement,” he said.

Ari’s good friend eventually became a believer in Jesus. He saw a positive change in him like he had a serenity of love, peace, and confidence he did not have before. Because of that, Ari got interested in the person of Jesus.

The Truth, The Way, and The Life

Ari decided to open the New Testament for the first time, which left him surprised and shocked. He did not expect the Book to be as Jewish as the Old Testament. He found Jesus to be the fulfillment of the Scriptures.

The more he read about Jesus, the more he understood that He is the way to get back to God. He told Jesus, “God, I just want to tell you that I am sorry because I have hated Your name.”

He shared, “I still have ups and downs in life. But, it’s a whole other reality to know and walk with God. And to know that I will actually have the miracle of forgiveness of my muck and forgiveness of my sin.”

Ari’s heart-cry is that his fellow Jewish people will also experience the same love, freedom, and most importantly, forgiveness that he had received from God through Jesus.

Amazing Story Of Jesus Pursuing A Jewish Drug Addict And His Friends

Ron was a drug addict Jew who found a group of friends who would do it with him. And as they were caught in their journey of getting lost, Jesus was also pursuing them and calling them found.

Ron started using illegal drugs when he was in boarding school. By the time he graduated, he had become a regular drug user.

He and his buddy, Mike, then decided to quit school to explore and enjoy life. So, they acquired a log house in a small town in Southern Oregon. They also met four other hippies looking for a place to live. The six of them stayed together for months until something happened.

Police caught four of the boys while they were on their way back. Their van was full of drugs, so they were sent to jail.

Ron and Mike feared that they were next to get arrested. So, they went on a hitchhike to Mexico to escape.

The Story of Pursuit

The first driver that picked them up was a Christian man. He shared the Gospel and told them about Jesus. He took them to a ranch to spend the night and sent them to a coastal highway the next day.

The second car that welcomed them was a Christian family. They asked them questions about God and Jesus and shared the Gospel with them again before dropping them off.

And while they were standing at the side of the road, a pickup truck pulled off, and a guy in the passenger seat climbed down to tell them, “Do you know Jesus loves you?”

The two friends did not make it to Mexico and eventually went back to Oregon.

But, something happened within Ron. Their experience made him look for a Bible.

The Wonderful Surprise

So, he bought a Bible and read it secretly, afraid that Mike would make fun of him. He then fell in love with Jesus and could not stop reading his new Book.

One day, he finally prayed, “God, if You’re there if You’re real, I want to know.” He felt peace within him as he opened his eyes, and he understood that God was real.

So, he told Mike, “You know, Mike, all this time, the truth was right in front of our noses!” Mike just replied, “I know.”

What Ron did not know was that Mike also had an encounter with Jesus. Their realtor was a Christian woman, and so, she gave Mike a copy of the Bible. While Ron was hiding to read the Word of God, Mike was also doing the same.

A letter from prison added their surprise. It turned out that their four friends in jail had also met Christians inside, and they became believers in Jesus.

Without talking to each other, each of them was being pursued by the One who loves them most. They would gather to do drugs in the past, but today, they are bound by their love for Jesus.

Jewish Man Encountered Yeshua During A Movie Date Night

A Jewish man, Steve Weiler, had an experience with Yeshua that happened in a peculiar place. He was not in his lowest moments. Rather he was in his happy place. He did not encounter any Christian person, but a movie evangelized him.

Going to the Movies

Steve grew up identifying himself as a cultural Jew because he felt the synagogue was fake. He claimed that the gathering did not feel like they were worshipping God. So, he lived out feeling disconnected from their Jewish faith.

After his Bar Mitzvah, he finally told his dad that he wouldn’t be going anymore to the synagogue.

Then, in his high school year, he loved going on dates. He started dating at a young age and enjoyed the company of girls. But, he did not expect that he would encounter Jesus during his high time.

One night, he and his date went for a movie night. They watched “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” It was a 1965 epic film retelling the journey of Jesus.

And after exiting the movie theater, Steve changed. He said, “There were no bombs going off, no whistles, no anything! Nothing happened except that I walked out, and I believed that Yeshua, Jesus, was the Messiah.”

Since then, his passion for God only grew. He then shared his newfound faith with others, telling them of the love of Yeshua. And for the first time, he finally opened the Bible. He was totally captivated by the love of Yeshua.

And today, he encourages his fellow Jews to come to Yeshua for He is the only Way. He urged, “I want you to understand that Yeshua is the Messiah because He is the Way we get to the Father. And when you receive Yeshua, He will fill your heart with love. And He will take away and push out the infirmities, and you will feel life. You will feel whole.”

Steve’s story tells us that God encounters us at any point in our life. Whether in our lowest or our highest, He wants to reveal His truth to us. Because He loves us and His desire for us is to have an abundant life that can only be achieved in Him.

Jewish Man Found His Self-Worth In Yeshua

Born with a Christian mom and a Jewish dad, this Jewish man struggled with identity and self-worth. But, after encountering Yeshua, he realized he didn’t need to prove anything to anyone anymore.

Half-Christian, half-Jewish

Because his parents were Christian and Jewish, their house celebrated both of its holidays. “But, the spiritual side of things was not there,” he recalled. So, this Jewish man believed in God but was not allowed to believe in Jesus.

In his teenage years, anxiety started creeping inside him. He was incredibly aware of himself and uncomfortable in his own skin. No matter how many times he was told and affirmed by the people around him, he still felt worthless.

One time, he looked at a mirror and said, “Your friends don’t like you. They tolerate you.” This pushed him to act more reserved and make more money to prove himself. Ultimately, it was not enough.

Then, something happened. His anxiety took over him when he was out with his friends. He woke up at two in the morning and realized that his friends had gone out. He thought they did not care for him, so he looked for them. In the middle of town, he screamed his lungs out, shouting every curse word he could think of.

Soon, cops came and arrested him for public disturbance. His friends were too late to stop him from his outburst.

Self-worth in Yeshua

Because of the incident, the man realized he needed help. Thankfully, he approached his mom and was sent to a Christian counseling center.

He laid down his issues, and finally, somebody understood him. A minister opened his eyes to the Truth. And the truth was he was placing his self-worth on people, which is not a firm foundation. Because people are not perfect and they will disappoint and break.

But, Jesus is the solid ground. He is the anchor who will carry us through. “He (Yeshua) gave me a sense of self-worth and stability that I was looking for,” he said.

“My Jewish Heritage And The Faith In Jesus Went Hand-In-Hand”

Emily Emanuel grew up never really embracing her Jewish identity. And the community she lived in loved the idea that she was the token Jew who hated Israel. Until everything she depended on came crashing down. Searching for forgiveness, she found it by having faith in Jesus and reconnected with her Jewish heritage.

Emily’s grandfather was a holocaust survivor. He successfully escaped from a German concentration camp and boarded a train to New York. Then, he built a family in his new place and continued with their Jewish culture.

But, it was not so for Emily’s case. She hated getting labeled as “the Jew” in her university. So, for her dissertation, she took the topic of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but from the angle of an anti-Israel. Her boyfriend and his friends were very supportive of her idea because they were also against the people of Israel.

However, she and her boyfriend had a bad break up. It left her feeling miserable and hopeless. She was struggling with anxiety and unforgiveness.

Emily’s grandmother invited her to church. Apparently, her grandmother always told her about her relationship with Jesus, and she wanted Emily to experience the same.

So, Emily donned her best funeral dress because she thought it was the needed outfit for church. But, once she was there, she saw many wearing converse shoes, checkered shirts, and baseball caps. It was far from what she expected. Furthermore, they were all happy. They seemed to hold the joy she was looking for.

Faith in Jesus

The songs and prayers ministered to her so much that she couldn’t help but cry. It was as though a heavy load was lifted from her shoulders, and an overwhelming joy consumed her heart.

Her newfound faith reconnected her to her Jewish heritage and helped her embrace her identity as a Jew. She said, “My Jewish heritage and the faith in Jesus went hand-in-hand. There was nothing separate about it.”

She added, “I found the solution for the Middle East Conflict. I’ve seen it with my own eyes that Jews and Arabs can fully unite in Jesus.”

My new faith and Jewish heritage went hand-in-hand!
