Kat Von D threw away her tarot cards and witchcraft books from her new home to transition from darkness into “love and light.”

Katherine von Drachenberg, popularly known as Kat Von D, is a well-known California tattoo artist and entrepreneur. She has been into dark-themed and witchcraft since she started her career. In her self-named make-up line, she even offered a tarot-themed collection and a shade of black lipstick named “Witches.”
However, in January 2020, many noticed changes in the tattoo artist. Katherine sold her shares in her make-up company and even started covering up the tattoos on her body. In a recent post on her Instagram account, she revealed to the public the journey of transition she’s been going through.
“I don’t know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the last few years I’ve come to some pretty meaningful realizations — many of them revolving around the fact that I got a lot of things wrong in my past,” she wrote.

Light & Love
In her post, she included a photo of her collection of tarot cards and witchcraft books. She then continued to reveal that she was about to throw them all away.
“Today, I went through my entire library, and threw out books that just don’t align with who I am and who I want to be.”
As her family moves on to their new home in Indiana, she wanted to leave all her dark past behind.
“I’ve always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I just had to ask myself what is my relationship with this content? And the truth is, I just don’t want to invite any of these things into our family’s lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, collecting dust on my shelves,” she noted.
Kat Von D also recognized the spiritual battle that is taking place. At this point in her life, she wanted to transition from darkness into light.
“It’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place, and I want to surround myself and my family with love and light,” she wrote.
Let us pray for Katherine and her family to fully encounter Jesus Christ and be fully covered by his love and light.
