Katherine Rounala shares how God prophetically led her to minister to His people on the GOD TV Together show.

One of the founders and senior ministers of Glory City Church Brisbane, Katherine Rounala, shared her testimony with Fergus Scarfe . She talked about how God called her to minister to the broken and lost. When she was 23 years old, God did a great work of deliverance and healing in her heart. “I was a young mom. I had little kids, and when they’d be asleep, I pray. And I’d be groaning in the spirit and seeing visions,” she recalled. In fact, she remembered seeing a vision of people walking blindly into eternity, and she saw Jesus with so much love on His face.
“I knew God was calling me to call out to them,” she shared. Moreover, she prayed that God would speak to her husband about the calling He revealed to her, and He did. One day her husband randomly told her that she would be a good preacher. After that, Katherine took a leap of faith and went to bible college.
“I stayed at home with the kids. Raised the kids. And then, after my third one, God started to open the doors to ministry… It’s just an honor and a privilege,” she testified.

Believing in God’s visions
Fergus Scarfe asked, “How was the Lord taken you to this wonderful space where the rest of us get to enjoy the ministry that the Lord has placed in your life?”
Katherine explained that God has a specific call in everyone’s lives. He waits for us to be like Mary, declaring the words, “Be it unto me, Lord, according to your word.” She also mentioned what Elizabeth said to her cousin Mary, “Blessed are you who has believed for there will be a fulfillment of these things promised.”
“Back then, when the Lord first called me, I was seeing fireballs going out of the clouds and people getting out of wheelchairs. And you know, I believed. It took me a little while, but I said, ‘Lord, I believe it even if no one prophecies it. I believe it,’” she highlighted.
On top of that, she narrated a Sony advertisement that God used to reveal a prophetic message to her. “The Lord said, ‘I’m gonna do something through media where you gonna see them coming on mass through the television,” she said. And it has!
“It’s amazing what God can do,” Katherine mentioned.
