A retired air force family doctor experienced sudden, intense knee pain, and doctors couldn’t find the cause. Medical science couldn’t heal her until she received that from God.
Intense Knee Pain
In 2019, Felisa Wilson’s left knee suddenly started to swell. It began to swell so much she couldn’t bend her knee. As a result, she walked with a limp and couldn’t walk up the stairs. The retired air force family doctor began to wonder why, because she had no injury nor accident that could have caused the swelling.

When the retired air force family doctor went to an orthopedist, the physician couldn’t find the cause of her flare-ups either. But he tried everything to fix the swelling on her left knee. And still, nothing worked.
“So I was resigned to the fact that, I don’t know why this is happening. But this is what it is,” she recalled. “I did pray for it, I prayed for my knee. I asked God to heal my knee, I believe in healing, and it didn’t happen…it just didn’t happen.”
A Miracle
Despite Felisa’s efforts, the pain kept getting worse. Then a few months later, she experienced a miracle that would change her life.
Felisa flew to New Mexico to attend her friend’s graduation from medical residency. She arrived at the hotel exhausted and in pain. Then she turned on the television and came upon The 700 Club. There, she heard words of knowledge from Gordon during ministery at the end of the program.
“They were ministering to the people, and Gordon was praying, and he said… ‘Someone else, you have tendons out of place in your left knee and God is putting them back in place. Taking all that swelling and all that pain, all that discomfort away from you right now. In Jesus name, be healed. Be made whole,” Felisa recounted.
Then what happened next was mind-blowing!
