Kyle Martin’s Speech
However, with all his achievements, Kyle isn’t impressed with being on top of the class. He expressed his thoughts during his speech on May 30, 2019.
“Working hard is good. It is in fact Biblical,” Kyle said in his graduation speech. “But it should not be done for the sole purpose of the goal’s sake at the expense of relationship with others.”
He then continued to emphasize the importance of having a relationship with other people.
“Relationships are where we get to influence, impact, and change people’s lives,” he added.
Our Purpose
Kyle also spoke about everyone’s sole purpose here on earth, which is to advance the Kingdom of God.
“We are put on this earth by our Creator and we all have a purpose: to advance God’s Kingdom that all may be saved,” Kyle emphasized. “As you live your life on this earth, there is no greater good than you can do for a person than to love them so much, that you point them to Jesus Christ. But first, He should be the first relationship that you cannot neglect.”
Relationship with God
Before ending his 5-minute graduation speech, he then urged everyone to have a relationship with the Lord. He also reminded believers to prioritize their relationship with God above anything else.
“Tonight, I am imploring you, if you have not begun that personal relationship with Jesus Christ, just do it. There is no better way to start something new and close a chapter of your life than with Him. If He is your Lord and Savior, then make sure you care for than relationship above all others.”
Kyle gave the most remarkable speech that has touched millions of hearts! The video of his speech received over 6.5 million views on YouTube and over 10 million views on Facebook.
Kyle received the Farish Scholarship, a full 4-year scholarship valued at $170,000, and will attend the Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is planning to study political science and Spanish.
