The Liberty University Praise Choir boldly worshiped Jesus at Cowboy Chicken, a restaurant chain located in Texas. They sang the song – “Souled Out” by Hezekiah Walker.
This University Choir never fails to glorify God in every place they go and they offered a wonderful song of praise to God in front of many people at Cowboy Chicken on this day.
While they are praising God, the people who were watching decided to clap their hands along with them! They weren’t just singing a song in this moment, but they were inviting the people who were watching to join in worshiping the living God. They became a wonderful example of the unity that only God can bring.
The itself song signifies a very important message.
“My heart is fixed, my mind’s made up
No room, no vacancies, I’m all filled up
His Spirit lives in me and that’s the reason I’m souled out,”
LU Praise Choir is an inspiration to many
God’s grace has made us whole. His Spirit is in us and His wonderful love will never fail us. He has healed our hearts from brokenness and filled us with His never-ending goodness. Because of what Jesus did on the Cross, we are indeed souled out.
This simple but meaningful act of praise truly blessed the people in that restaurant. It was an invitation of joy and hope for those who are weary.
Let’s pray for more people who will boldly use their talents to proclaim the name of the Lord in public. A generation who will advance the Kingdom of God especially in the darkest places of this world. A group of Christians who are never ashamed to honor Jesus everywhere they go. Just like what the LU Praise Choir did.
Watch and be inspired:
