The Bachelor finalist Madison Prewett reveals how she stood for her faith and purity amidst the pressure the show had put on her.
Getting Onto The Bachelor
Madison Prewett grew up in a solid Christian home. As a teenager, she was a church leader and had dated a pastor. Back then, Madison pictured herself marrying a pastor, planting a church, having many kids, and going on annual mission trips as a family. She could also see herself moving overseas and starting an orphanage with her family. Until one day, God did something incredible that put a plot twist in her life.

The Bachelor called Madison as one of the participants in the show for Season 24. She even felt confused after receiving the call because she didn’t apply or watch the show. Hence, she hung up the call because she wasn’t interested at all. Then when she called her mom expecting to tell her “No,” surprisingly, she told her, “Never close the door until you take time to pray about it.”
Praying
As a result, Madison prayed with her family for a few months for God’s leading about the decision she would make.
“Sometimes, God calls us to step out of the boat. And I was just ready for whatever God has,” the Bachelor finalist remarked.

Before embarking on the show and going out of her comfort zone, Madison prayed hard. She prayed that she would stay true to herself, to stand firm in her beliefs, values, and convictions even without the presence of her family and church. Thus, throughout the show, Madison revealed how she relied more on the Holy Spirit. As a result, she stood upon her faith and purity till the end despite the pressure the whole show had put on her.
