Loretta Blasingame died after having consecutive heart attacks. But she encountered God and gave her an urgent message to share with the world.
A 13-year-old’s Encounter
Loretta was just thirteen years old when she first encountered Jesus. It was no ordinary encounter. She saw Jesus walking into her room. “He showed me a white Bible and said, “I am calling you to preach the gospel. When you preach this word, I will heal people while they sit in their seats.””
Many years later, Loretta had no idea she would die and receive the message He wanted her to share.
It happened while at the doctor’s office. Loretta began having unbearable pain in her heart, she immediately took her son to a friend’s house and went to the doctor.
“When I went in, he started working on me, and I heard him say she’d had a heart attack. The next thing I heard, he said to call my husband. “She is having another heart attack; she’s dying,” Loretta recalled.
Went to Heaven to Hear an Urgent Message
Loretta saw herself coming out of her body and going up through the clouds. “And then I saw two beautiful gates open in heaven. When the gates opened, I saw streets of gold, and then I saw Jesus standing at the end of a bridge. He had on a long white robe that had a gold kind of like a sash thing coming down the middle. Then He had his arms outstretched like that to say, “Come.” And so I started making my way toward Him,” she recalled.

He told her that many “people would miss heaven by not having love for one another more than any other sin on earth.”
Loretta asked Him about her two heart attacks. He told her that she’d have a heart like a 13-year-old, the same age when she first encountered Jesus.
Bringing an Urgent Message
When she woke up, everyone was shocked. She had been declared dead. She witnessed two doctors get into an argument. One doctor told her, “Well, my friend out here is telling me that you couldn’t have had two heart attacks. Not even one, you have the heart of a thirteen-year-old child.”
That confirmed what Jesus said to her while she was in heaven.
God has used Loretta powerfully after that heavenly encounter. A young man was given a new heart. A lady was healed of stomach cancer. Another was healed of a tumor, and countless other miraculous healings have followed. All because Loretta obeyed what Jesus told her to do.
When asked what she wanted to say, “This is your life; this is your eternity. God is too good; God is just too good, He is pure love. Repent of your sins, tell God you are sorry, and tell God you need help to turn from some of these sins. Believe that the blood of Jesus washes away everything you have ever done, and you have a new start in life.
Jesus, I Make You My Lord
“And then, when you are clean, you say, “Jesus, I make you my Lord. I want to know You like those people I see on television; I want to know You better than them; I want to have intimacy with You. There is nothing in my life that satisfies me. There is nothing that holds a candle compared to hearing Your voice.”
“Having a destiny, having a vision, having a purpose, just basking in Your love, knowing that when I die I will be with You forever in eternity Not being fearful of what is coming on this earth, Jesus, I really want this.”
“And God says, “The day that you seek Me with all of your heart, then that day you will find Me,”” she concluded.
