God is not intimidated by your questions.
Finding God
Misty Edwards shares her experience of how she questioned God in the past. From the very beginning, she knew that meaning to find the meaning of life, she has to seek God. She knew that outside the presence of the Lord, there is no purpose, no meaning, and no fulfillment.
“I knew that to find the meaning in my life, I have to deal with God,” she shared. “That there was no purpose, no meaning, there was no ultimate fulfillment for me outside of God.”
Questions
That’s when she started to vocalize her questions to God. She started to ask who is God, what is God and why do people talk to Him like they can see Him. Misty then emphasized that no matter what our questions to God, He is not intimidated by them.
“The good thing about God is He is not intimidated by us. He’s not hurt or intimidated by our questions… He will give you answers but you have to ask the questions, let Him answer. He is not intimidated by your unbelief, and He’s not intimidated by your questions.”
To answer Misty’s question, God revealed to her that He is a whirlwind that goes on forever. He is the omnipresent God that is present in our hearts and in everywhere.
“I pictured God, God the Father, God the Spirit, as that whirlwind that just goes on and on and there’s no edge… There’s no way out of God, the only way to not be with God is to close your heart out. I think humans like empty capsules in the ocean of God. And we become with Him when we open up our hearts to Him and the only place He isn’t is in the closed heart.”
