When she wanted to pursue a singing career, a producer asked her if she was willing to sell her soul to the devil.
But as she was about to agree, God suddenly showed up and saved them both.
When Jesus Was Tempted
Time and time again, the Bible reminds us to flee from temptation and pursue holiness and righteousness.
Jesus modeled this when He was tempted by Satan after fasting for forty days.
“Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.” “Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus” (Matthew 4:8–11, NLT).
Asked To Sell Her Soul To The Devil
A similar scenario happened when an aspiring singer was asked to sell her soul to the devil in exchange for instant fame.

“I was working with a renowned producer. I remember after a session, he took me for a walk around the studio, and he said to me, “If you will sell your soul to the devil, tomorrow you will have instant fame. People do this in the industry,”” she recalled.
She admitted that she had made her fair share of mistakes. Many times she wanted to do things her own way and pursue her career whatever the cost.
But God protected her that day.
When God Walked Into The Room
“When he said this, it was like a presence entered into the room and I fell. I could not stand. I fell to the ground, and I didn’t know what I do now, that it was the glory of the Lord. The weight of the glory of God came to the room, and I immediately began to repent about all sorts of things in front of this man,” she recalled.
But what happened next surprised her. It seemed that she wasn’t the only one that God came to save.
“And as I’m on the ground repenting, I looked up, and he was sitting down. So whatever entered into the room convicted both of us. And I’m here to share this story to say that the supernatural is real. The spiritual realm is pretty much real,” she said.
Serving One Master
Recalling her story made her realize that God is the only one worthy of her life.
“You can only serve one master. And that master that I chose to serve is the Lord Jesus. With all of my heart, all of my talent, and all of my gifting. And that’s what we’re all supposed to do—with all of our heart, all of our talent, all of our gifting—is to give it back to God,” she concluded.
