The Name Of Jesus And The Blood Of Jesus Are Enough

There is no other Name under heaven by which man can be saved (Acts 4:12). His Name is Jesus. This is the truth yet many refuse to accept Him as the only Saviour. God sent His Son as the perfect sacrifice for our redemption from sin. There is no further sacrifice required. God did it all for His creation. This was the plan even before the creation of the world. Jesus knew this was His mission and He fulfilled it on Calvary. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Either He is who He says He is or He is a liar. We now have to choose to believe or reject the Truth.

Blood

The blood of Jesus is enough to cleanse us from all sin. Once we have believed and applied this truth, our conscience is now clear and it is as if we have never sinned. This is to be like Adam and Eve were before the Fall in the Garden of Eden. We too can enter into the same union with the Father through the blood of Jesus . There is no other way but His way. His blood is the only way for our redemption. This was the plan from the beginning and there is no other plan. God said it and it was done. Satan was defeated on the Cross and he has no more power over us who believe in Jesus. The demons tremble at the mention of His blood. They have no access to His blood.

Warfare

Now we have a battle to remain in the salvation bought for us. This is the battle with the principalities and powers of evil that will cause us to doubt. Our spirit has been redeemed but we continue to be redeemed in our soul. His Name and His blood are sufficient for us to overcome all the forces that would come against us. We need to exercise our authority over these evil powers that are against us. We do this by calling on the Name above all other names. We declare His blood over us and our possessions. His blood will keep us safe from all attacks. This is the only way for us to overcome the enemy and thus be overcomers. Today let us call on the Name of Jesus and cover ourselves in His blood and be free.

The Meaning Of Your Name

We are all in a quest to find out who we are. Interestingly, our names have meaning that point to a purpose. In GOD TV’s show Arise with Chanthal Whites, you’ll discover that “God has given you a name,” and there is more to that.

God Has Given You A Name

“Yes, you a have a name and God has given you a name. And He says that He is well-pleased with your name,” Chanthal remarked.

God calls you by name

She highlighted Isaiah 43:1 explaining God’s heart towards His people. It says, “But now, this is what the Lord says—He who created you, Jacob, He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”

Chanthal points out how God is completely aware of every detail of our lives. He named us. She also emphasized how important it is to know this truth in our lives.

Do Not Settle For Being Unnamed

She goes on to share an example through Lot’s wife. The Bible only mentioned her as someone’s wife but never says her real name. For that reason, it appears that she wasn’t given have an identity, only being known as “Lot’s wife.”

Chanthal challenges believers not to settle for being unnamed like “Lot’s wife.”

“God said today, ‘He has called you by your name.. And because I called you.. you are mine,’” she said.

God’s Word speaks purpose and destiny over you. “Your name has a meaning to what God has called you for,” she affirmed.

Jesus is Knocking

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke expounds upon how intimately the Creator knows you. God knows you by name. The Creator of heaven and earth knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows where you were born. God knows your circumstances. He knows behind which shrub you are hiding from Him. He knows if you’re a real born again Christian or simply pretending to be one. He’s knocking; will you answer?

The Lord knows His own. He knows the truth about us. That’s why He is knocking on the door of your heart to enter as Lord and Savior.

Have you made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life?

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10)

Point of reflection

Did you know in Acts chapter 3, refers to Jesus as the Author of Life? That means Jesus created your life and died on the cross to save your life. There’s no greater love than one to lay down his life for another.

Three facts about Jesus:

1. Jesus created your life.
2. Jesus died to save your life.
3. Jesus loves you more than you even love yourself.

Making Jesus Lord and Savior of your life is the best decision anyone could ever make!
