God’s presence that is pouring out at current revival meetings has sparked something at Campbellsville University.
But is it the last university to begin hosting spontaneous meetings?
Nationwide Revival
Many universities have responded as God has stirred the hearts of His people. Most are students and these meetings have broken out in several universities across the nation. This nationwide wide move of God has been going on for more than a week now, and no one knows when it will end.
In fact, Trey Creason, a campus minister, told Kentucky.com, “Every Monday and Thursday we open our chapel to prayer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..”
“This week I sent out an invitation to pray to our campus and local ministers during this time and invite them to an intentional time to pray last night at 9. During our time together we took intentional time to pray for our students, faculty, staff, praying for ministries on campus and various needs.
We had numerous support from our community show up to pray during this time. President Hopkins remained with us the duration of the night helping lead times of worship and reflection. Students continued to spend time praying, worshipping and reflecting until around 2:45 am. God has been working in great ways in so many avenues on campus the last two years and continues to do so.”
Testimonies
Because of the support from church leaders and unity of the body of Christ, many are experiencing miracles and transformation in their lives.
In a Facebook post, Vivian Daugherty Edwards said, “Revival is breaking out on the campus at Campbellsville University. The president is leading in worship. So thankful my kids are a part of a godly university. Can’t wait to see how God moves on the campus.”
Another mother posted on Facebook:
“My daughter sent me this last night from Campbellsville University. She was at Asbury worshipping and got a text from her college. The worship team then left and on their way from Asbury they came up with music and prayed about the revival happening at Campbellsville.
God is working and you can doubt it if you want but the world needs Jesus right now more than ever. He is showing us that hope isn’t lost and even amongst the chaos he will hold us. He is in control and will one day take his church home to worship in heaven! what a glorious day that will be when my Jesus I shall see!! This was still going on at 1 am and the President of her college was leading worship on his piano until the worship team got there. How blessed I am to know my daughter attends this school!! How blessed I am to get a text like this from my daughter even at 1 am!! Thank you Jesus!! I don’t deserve what you do for me.”
Now, the question is, “Is Campbellsville University the last to join the nationwide revival?”
We hope not! God is still on the move so be expectant for a mighty outpouring of His presence.
He isn’t finished yet.
