Michael Tait from the Christian Band, Newsboys visited the White House in May 2019 to lead everyone in worship!
Faith Briefing
It all started last November 2018 when the White House opened its doors to Christian artists for a “Faith Briefing.” Many different Christian leaders worshipped God together in the most historic building in the USA. Since then, various Christian artists have visited the home of the US President in Washington DC to lead worship.
The November “Faith Briefing” meeting was organized by Pastor Paula White, the chair of President Trump’s Faith Advisory Board and a pastor from Florida. The agenda was to give an update on the faith-based initiatives that have been introduced by the Trump Administration.
Christian artists like JJ Weeks, Tauren Wells, Danny Gokey, and Riley Clemmons have all led worship at the White House and just recently the lead vocals of the Newsboys visited to lead key administration officials and faith leaders in worship.
