A single Good Friday event saw 1,395,164 respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
Good Friday Event
Author and evangelist Nick Hall saw a massive response to the Gospel during this year’s Good Friday event. The founder of PULSE, a ministry aimed at spreading the Gospel and making disciples, claimed that over 1.3 million people responded during their event broadcast.
The event was aired in 186 countries and was translated into 39 languages. Since the event aired earlier this month, the call center has been overwhelmed with calls and texts from people around the world. People are expressing their desires to follow Jesus Christ.
Nick also shared that the call center in India, that is connected to 26,000 churches, “was overwhelmed with people’s hunger for God.”
The evangelist also revealed that this was the first time that he has seen something like this.
“For many years, I have had opportunities to share the gospel all over the world. But never before have I seen something as incredible as what happened this year on Good Friday and Easter Weekend.”
Responses to the Gospel
In an Instagram post, Nick glorified Jesus Christ for everything He is doing through the event.
“Far from this being about PULSE, this is about Jesus being lifted high through the global body of Christ – the Church,” Nick wrote.
Nick believed that more and more people became hungry for the presence of God because of the difficulties everyone faced in the past year.
“I believe the global COVID-19 pandemic, political and economic uncertainty, and the reality of racism and injustice have eroded people’s trust in the things of this world.”
People are asking questions and are seeking someone who can understand their pain. It is time for Christians to share the love of Jesus Christ with others.
“Humanity is experiencing revival and reckoning like never before. And I believe there has never been a greater opportunity to show the world the love of Jesus than the one we have right now.”
